Despite all of the negative reviews here. I have to say that my husband spent 2+ weeks at Kindred Hospital - Sugar Land and I can't say enough about how great he was cared for. The Doctor's and Nurses, the entire staff was excellent! We appreciate all of the excellent care he received.He was a very sick man with more than 1 serious condition and they cared for him in the most professional way. I would highly recommend this hospital. Thank you Kindred - Sugar Land for all of your expertise care for my husband. Robert & Rhonda Pospisil

My husband has been admitted to Kindred twice in 2024 after a stroke in Feb and then in April when he got a serious staph infection.
We call Kindred a hidden gem in Sugar Land. From the moment you enter the doors and greeted by the receptionist to the nursing staff to the doctors to the rehab and speech therapists and the rest of the helpful staff which includes the administrative staff, we were very happy we were lucky enough to be admitted to Kindred. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We especially want to give a shout out to Meera speech therapist.. my husband's speech was affected after the stroke and both times he was admitted, Meera was his therapist.. She was very thorough, structured his lessons to include words, names etc to make it more personal to him. He was very comfortable with her which made it easier for him to learn. His speech improved dramatically even though he does have a ways to go because of the stroke but he sure got a good basis to keep improving. For all the reasons noted above we loved Kindred.

This is my third stay at kindred, and each time I was treated professionally. I am also an outpatient with their wound center,and I am always happy with Aileen and Christiana.
I have stayed here as a patient for a few weeks and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The kitchen staff Victor is amazing taking your daily order. From the nurses I like every one, they did their job very well. I truly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility if anyone needs long term care.

Thank you to all of the dedicated doctors, nurses and rehabilitation team at Kindred Hospital. My sister was a patient last year for almost 4 months. She was well taken care of and helped to get her back on her feet. The rehabilitation team, Tess, Sal, Sammy and Anne didn’t let her pass on the PT every day. They pushed her so that when she left the hospital she was doing some walking and had the desire and determination to get well. The floor nurses were very helpful to me. Marie Fengali, the patient representative went out of way every day to get me a wheelchair and push me to whatever room my sister was in and if I left before her shift was over she would come back and take me to lobby. My sister’s case manager, Caroline was also very helpful and helped to make sure my sister had all of her questions answered. Caroline also explained all of the benefits my sister was entitled to. I can’t say enough good things about Kindred Hospital in Sugar Land and the staff in the various departments.

My mom was admitted here from Memorial Hermann Hospital.  Honestly, at first, we were kind of nervous after reading the reviews, but it turned out pretty good.

Dr. William Nguyen was outstanding.  He took time to explain and help us to understand my mom’s condition.  He’s very professional in treatment!

Nurse Leo, Nurse Assistant Digna Guzman were standouts.  They are very dedicated, gentle, experienced, professional in their field of taking care their patients.

Overall, the staffs here were very nice and helpful.  They would go above and beyond to make my mom feel better.

I actually miss the people at this hospital. They really cared about me, my recovery and needs. Ms.Marie visited every day she was there and took suggestions and made sure everything was going well for me. One night, I was having trouble sleeping with noise and mentioned it. I wasn't even complaining. The nurses made a sign to put on my door and everyone made sure to keep as quiet as possible. Some response times were not prompt but understandingly, they are very busy and were doing their best to take care of you. Some of the nurses were special to me and made me feel special to them in how they would make sure I was taken care of, especially Alice, one of the best!

Everyone was great, I would have visitors every day to check on me from doctors and their assistants, radiology and even Victor from the kitchen to make sure my menu for the next day was to my liking. Physical and occupational therapy were great people who would work with me on getting back on my feet again. Even the case workers who made arrangements for after discharge needs were great. Would not hesitate to recommend Kindred Hospital to someone willing to work with them to get better from illness.

The staff at Kindred is absolutely amazing. Everyone is kind and encouraging. I was transfered here from another hospital they was rude and just simply didn't care. Thank you Kindred for taking such good care of me and especially to Charles my physical therapist. He's made this process easier to deal with mentally by being funny and super encouraging. I will highly recommend you to anyone I know.

P.S. the water pipes need to be fixed as they make really loud noises randomly. Lol
