I received excellent care during my visits from my treatment team. Dr. Aisueni and Erika are a dream team. After my visits and treatment, I’ve seen significant improvements in my overall health, I couldn’t be happier.
It is truly unfortunate that I may have to find new providers given the rift between bcbs and MH. I really am hopeful for a better resolution for the chance to continue working with them.

I gave birth last year at this hospital and truly had a great experience overall. I felt listened to and cared for during my entire birth, and as a first time mom, I was extremely nervous! All of the nurses and doctors were extremely kind and went out of their ways to make sure I was comfortable, and had everything I needed and more. If I have another baby, I would want to give birth here again.
Now I know why they have a 2.5 rating! Their ER sucks....big time! I came by ambulance. They took basic vitals and did bloodwork. Then they threw me into the waiting room. Again, I came by AMBULANCE!! And the pain is getting worse! I was told they would "let my nurse know"...that was 20 mins ago! Come here to die, not for help!

I was told to arrive by 6:30am for a procedure which I did, wasn't called up to the receptionist area until about 45 minutes later. Clerical staff is unprofessional, was told I had a $400 co-pay & when I requested for my co-pay to be billed to me later (as I usually do with no problems), I was told it needed to be paid right then and there or be neglected the medical procedure I was there for. When I questioned the legality of being neglected medical care due to payment, I was told that only "happens at hospitals, and they [Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kirby Glen] are not that."
The medical staff seems to be untrained when it comes to wheelchair bound individuals like myself and I was spoken to without much tact, which I think should be a basic requirement if you work in the medical field where you're expected to interact with (and care for) human beings.
Anyway, fast forward to today (3 weeks post-op), the EOB I received shows I was covered at 100% so I shouldn't have paid anything at the time of service. I have tried contacting the facility (tried ALL extensions on their automated menu) and NO ONE answers the phone. I found a general billing phone number for Memorial Hermann in which I was told by a representative that they don't have access to billing info for Memorial Hermann surgery centers and she didn't know who I should contact for assistance. This is unacceptable for any facility, let alone a medical facility, and if this is something that happens often, at least have an easier process for previous patients to process refund requests. I left a voicemail message in hopes of getting a call back and some resolution, but from the reviews I've read, voicemail messages are left unanswered.

My mother arrived at Hermann Memorial on March 8th to receive emergency surgery for an aneurism on her aorta. Her physician, Dr. Naveed Raqib and team successfully performed the surgery. My mother who is 85 years old owes her life to Dr. Naveed and the incredible team. All of the doctors, nurses and medical professionals at Hermann Memorial were absolutely phonenomanal!!!
My entire family is grateful that all went well. My mother is currently at Canelot of Broussard short-term facility where the staff here is also great. Also, Dr. Lopez is an extremely gifted surgeon. I would definitely recommend Hermann Memorial for those who might need their specialized abilities.
I have to admit I was a little nervous after reading these reviews but I had my procedure today and all went well. They were switching to a new system so there were a few glitches, however everyone was so nice and professional it wasn’t a problem. Shout out to Tosha, my pre op nurse that did my IV! I always dread this because it usually hurts so badly but she was amazing! Painless! Could the waiting room use a facelift….yes, but as long as facility is clean, people are pleasant, professional and capable that’s all that really matters to me. I’d go back.

Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate your feedback.
I had a very disappointing inhumane experience with this cardiology office before even being seen by a provider. I called to confirm my appointment and share some concerns, but it was extremely difficult to get through—multiple calls were required just to speak with someone.
When I finally reached the receptionist (Thelma), the interaction was unprofessional and lacked basic empathy. She focused only on insurance information, even though I had already provided it multiple times, and became rude and raised her voice during the call. I remained calm, but the situation escalated unnecessarily.
I was then placed on hold for over 15 minutes and passed to another staff member, who was equally dismissive. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told none were available, and the call ended abruptly in a very unprofessional manner.
I now am having to take time out of my day and go to the facility in person to get the proper results and confirm my appointment as well as get all of the patient advocacy info and supervisors attention on this issue. This experience was stressful and concerning, especially for a medical office serving patients who may already be dealing with serious health issues. Professionalism, communication, and compassion should be a priority in a healthcare setting. I hope management takes steps to address these issues.

Warning, you will most likely get two bills, one from the facility and one from the physician, like the Cardiologist in our case. So it basically sounds like they rent out spot at the hospital and if they belong somewhere else, like UT Health, you are getting two bills. Also, the Cardiologist, Dr. Hasan was horrible, rude, bad bedside manner. Kept trying to insist on scheduling multiple extensive tests that required a specialty hospital visit. Something just seemed off about him to me and my wife so we went to a different doctor and cancelled all our appointments here. the other doctor diagnosed and verified her symptoms that didn't require all those procedures with a simple stress test he was able to do in the same initial consultation visit.

Each time my 91 year old mother-in-law has gone through the ER and been admitted to the 4th floor on the West wing she has received exceptional service from the nurses and the providers. The 4-star rating is because most nurses and staff on the 5th floor of the Southwest wing were less responsive and seemed to be disturbed when called.
For her most recent visits, the staff below made as feel welcome, was responsive to my mother-in-law’s care and were very professional. All of the nurses and the aids on the West Wing were exceptionally kind. Unfortunately, I do not recall their names.
From the ER:
Noori MD
Kaetlynn
Ruth, PA
Deep, PA
From the SW wing:
Jackson, transport
From the West wing:
Toya, Sophia, RT, OT, PT
Khan MD
Brandi, SW
The patient advocates were exceptional as well. Thanks for having them there. We had Ana at our last visit and I cannot recall the name of the advocate in the ER, but he was the first one that we met.
I just got got back from the emergency room and considering the facts on the ground, short staff for the volume it was not the best but they took care of me and the staff was come and collected and gave me such great treatment. They did an excellent service. From Joe who took great care, the nurse practitioner, Josh, Brenda, the phlebotomist such a hand and a beautiful soul her name scapes me but sweet Hispanic lady a true professional. Congratulations!!!! Thanks you so much and blessings to you all.
