Just tried to be seen for a sore throat, got registered , gave them my insurance, and then asked what the cost to be seen is. Was told I won't know until after I checked in.

This is what's wrong with Healthcare in America. Treat first, bill later.

Look at the other reviews. They up charge you like a hospital for urgent care capabilities. If it's something serious, they will just call an ambulance for you, and you get that bill too.

I'm glad I'm a paramedic and know better than to let them empty my bank account for 2 min. Visit.

Urgent care one street over is $50 co-pay.

I walked out. Thanks for nothing but a scam.

The receptionist must’ve forgot to bring her manners to work. On my first visit there to schedule a session, I asked to see the business cards of the physical therapists that worked there which were behind the glass, and she responded that I could either sit and wait while she takes care of 15 other people in line or I could let her finish scheduling me. If I knew it took that much effort to turn the business cards around so I could see them, then I wouldn’t have asked.

While the service was not bad, the price of the one hour and 30 minute visit was absolutely obscured. I went in for a headache and left out with the same headache $9,270.00 later. Thank God for excellent insurance but what happened after the ER visit is why I’ll never go to this or any other MH “convenient” ER again. When I received my bill I actually read over it and the math was not mathing. I was doubled billed for an injection “push” and each injection was $495.95. Make it make sense why two injections for medicine that $12 should cost $1,000 to inject. But whatever. I started disputing the bill in April and finally got answers today (October) after having to go to MH’s system office in Memorial City. Every call would be the run around. I even sent emails to the patient billing department. No replies. No nothing but MH faithfully sent the payment statement of $1,007.00 due after insurance. Today thanks to Karina, it finally made sense although it’s still not clearly stated in writing for the patient to understand, but I’ll go with her “why” for the double injection charges because it actually makes sense. Thank you Karina for being patient focused and looking into my ongoing matter.

Point is, this locations ER is a ripe off to Americans. I would have hate to have had a worse emergency. Not telling what that bill would have been. Moreover, MH has terrible customer service in the billing department.

Save yourself the money and the energy. Try urgent care or go to the local pharmacy for advice on what meds to take to cure pain.

I literally walked out with the same pain and experienced even worse headaches trying to deal with the billing.

Disclaimer: I didn't and won't go to this location for physical therapy because of the rude receptionist.
I had an ACL tear and made an appointment thru phone last week to see Dr. Steven Higby this Wednesday (tomorrow). I forgot the exact appointment time so I called to confirm. To my surprise, I was told my appointment was cancelled "If you don't play sport or didn't have surgery, then you can't see Steven!" in the rudest and most arrogant way. I "play" sport! Then she went ahead and said basketball doesn't count.
She also claimed the system called me this morning 11am to inform me the appointment was changed to tomorrow afternoon when I have a conflict. But I have never received such call or voice mail!
Btw, My orthopedist (who works in the next building and very nice - but I saw him in Memorial location where the customer service is much better) recommended me to see Steven. If Steven can't see patients like me, why don't you guys communicate to the orthopedists so we can stop waiting time?

Worst hospital I've ever been too. Staff is very uneducated making mistakes right and left and front desk clerks are very disrespectful. Also don't plan on having any family stay and enjoy your delivery experience because they'll make sure to ruin that.

Total scam. Took over 2 months (afterwards) to find out that they didn't have a doctor on staff to interpret any data. They sent it to a 3rd party for review. I still don't have any results. The only thing I do have is bills piling up. They charged me $ 500 for the study (which doesn't include any doctor review or results - That's a separate bill). Now I'm out a boatload of money with no results, recommendations, or advice on how to move forward. This place should be shutdown.

I can't comment on emergency services but my Memorial Hermann PCP sent me here and they recommended I wear a heart monitor and get an ultrasound. I received the hear monitor and did as instructed. A week or so after I sent it back I received a call and a message was left requesting I call back to get results. I called back within 5 minutes (twice) and only get offered an option to leave a message. I left a message and it's been over a week and no callback. The communication here is a zero. Memorial Hermann has apps that you download that don't offer any benefit (other than paying) and there's basically no way to speak to anyone. I'm cancelling the appointment for the ultrasound because I'll never get the results anyway. Using any doctors other than your PCP is likely a waste of your money and TIME. Their time is important, yours is not. Efficiency and service are foreign concepts here as well. With all of the resources they have you'd think they would offer better methods of communication other than carrier pigeon. Maybe next time I'll send them a fax.

I emailed and you failed again. Form type doesn't include enough spaces to type what I'm actually trying to get which is monitoring results. I then received a call from an unknown number that left a voicemail giving me other department numbers to call. I email and you call. I call and then have to leave a message. Your time matters and mine does not.

They really need to get on the same page. First I come in for a pap covered 100%. The next time I come in they tell me I have a balance for that visit. This was in May and they're still working on it to fix it.
Then I drive all the way up here for my mammogram results that Jennifer told me were ready. I left my sick husband at home to come get them. They tried to charge me. I told her no I wouldn't be charged if they gave me the results over the phone. She has me wait, just so they can tell me they don't have the results yet!!
What a waste of time and gas!! Gas is not cheap and the anguish due to still not having the results. I cried and prayed all the way over her from Cypress to the Heights and still don't have answers. I was so happy to finally have found a Dr I love and feel comfortable with but the service needs help, lots of help!!!

Made an appointment six weeks ago for 4 PM today. I also had confirmed the time and date of the appointment yesterday. Got there filled in all of my paperwork. Waited in the waiting room for about 45 minutes until somebody told me that the doctor had left for the day. Lady at the front desk was helpful. However, I don’t trust a doctors office that has a failed oversight with an appointment time to address my serious, cardiac condition. Would rate this zero out of five stars if I could.
