Pay extra close attention to your EOB!! Even better, avoid this center. On the day of your surgery these folks will strong-arm you into paying what they "estimate" to be your co-pay/deductibles. Beware of giving your checking account information if you plan to pay that amount in payments. They will continue to draft your bank account even after the balance has been paid in full. When you call to dispute, they'll refer you to their third-party billing company to wash their hands of you. My insurance company was also charged more than $6k in anesthesiology services. There were duplicate charges of $3000 for one surgery. When I inquired about these charges, I was told by officer manager Theresa Mitchum, she couldn't discuss it with me and referred me to the third-party anesthesiology provider that just so happens to never answer their phone!! I am beyond frustrated with this sham operation and taking my complaint to the medical board. This is a perfect example of what's wrong with our healthcare system. Patients are given no choice and little to no disclosure about possible costs or additional charges they will incur. You're at the mercy of the surgery center and they can pretty much charge you for anything they want.

Would not recommend this facility to no one. Staff is rude. Receptionists goofing around talking about where to buy ice cream.
They canceled my appointment twice now: first time because their machines weren’t working. Second time for arriving 10 minutes late (still within my 15 minute limit) when traffic in Kingwood is filled with construction. They made me wait 45 minutes only to say we’ll need to reschedule.
The billing lady who told an elderly patient in front of me “thanks for signing away your kidney!” Is this what they were taught by management?
I’m not rescheduling here ever. Nor recommending. Will try another facility that actually cares about people.

Nurse Cristina was rude when she came in the room and asked what was going on, I started talking to answer her question then she was so rude interrupting me with a mean tone of voice by asking can he talk, can he talk? I felt very insulted after this rude experience I will never come back here.

Went to the ER for a possible ruptured appendix at 7 PM and 10:29 PM I still had not been seen. This could possibly be a life threatening situation and no one even came to see what was going on. Poor customer service and no sense of urgency. If you are in pain, don't come to this ER.

WATCH OUT FOR WRONG CHARGES! They say that Memorial Herman Hospital charges $130 for "FACILITIES”, NO MATTER WHAT; even if it is just a follow up (according to Alba). This is a lie because I also go to a different doctor (same building), and only pay my $40 copay, the same at countless hospitals I have visited in Houston. This is a very arbitrary charge because no hospital or office’s doctor charges for additional facilities, unless the patient is treated for special issues needing special facilities different from the doctor’s office.
I called BlueCross BlueShield, and confirmed that I am not supposed to pay for any other charge, except for consultation. One thing is to sign admitting possible charges in the case a further procedure is necessary, and something else is to be assured that you will be charged for "FACILITIES”, even if you don’t use them. They might want to justify saying that it was a misunderstanding; that it is a regular procedure to sign for it, and that they won’t charge, unless additional facilities are used, but I clearly asked Alba to clarify, and she said I would be charged, no matter what. She was not exactly kind with BCBS, when speaking by phone either.
I wasted my time going to this place, because I am not going to let them get away with wrong charges. The weird thing is that the first time, I went through the same process, and they did not charge for the supposed facilities, even though I got an EKG performed, so this time being a follow-up should be no exception, but Alba said that I had to pay because it was different circumstances. Really? A simple follow up must pay for facilities, or you wanted to get rid of me, because you don’t like patients that stand up for their rights? From the first appointment, I could tell they did not like me calling BCBS to confirm coverage.
They might want to say they don't know me, but they know who I am.

If you aren't obviously dying from a very obvious thing, don't bother coming here.
I'm sickly, I have a compromised immune system and 75% of the time I get the same doctor and he never does a physical examination, runs any bloodwork or really do anything other than throw whatever pill he thinks would get you out of his hospital.
This doctor has landed me in another hospital, septic, because of his inability to do his job!
I was there a few days ago. I tell him my symptoms, gives me something for the nausea and turns around and leaves on 45 seconds. Nurse comes in to take final.vitals prior to discharge, I start to puke. She left, I liked again and my husband asked her for some water for me, to which she says no because I'm throwing up.
We both figure maybe the doctor will come back and rethink things, but no, she comes in with my discharge papers and sets us on our way home.
Saw my M.D. the day afterwards. Turns out I have GERD with esophagitis, likely acute pancreatitis and possibly even a stomach infection.
Thanks man, you're just great 😑
Next time I'll drive to the MH off i10 and Gessner.

After spending multiple weekends of my wife and I rescuing people from Harvey and muking out houses I caught a fever and diarrhea for over 5 days. We just moved here in July from Florida and did not have a regular doctor to go to. I Decided to go to this ER. The hospital was very pretty, and clean. Staff for the most part where kind and friendly. The financial side for my 8pm visit for about an hour in September was a disaster! I go in because I've had an off and on fever but continues diarrhea for 5 days and I started bleeding. I'm a teacher and work wanted me to get checked out since my wife and I spent a couple of weekends after hurricane Harvey muking out houses and voulunteering with clean up. We wanted to make sure I didn't have anything crazy. I went in to the ER and checked in. I told them my family moved here in July I just graduated college and just started teaching and told them what was wrong with me and told them I need to be seen but only do things that don't cost to much. They said it should not be to bad but they don't know prices. I get checked in quickly. Nurse is very nice I tell him the same thing. Please I need to be checked out but not if it's to expensive. He said shouldn't be to bad but they don't know cost. Lol of course not. Doctor is being and finally comes in after about 45 minutes. By the end I had three small viles of blood taken and an anal exam. The results came back after me being there a little over an hour not to bad. They could find nothing wrong. They said sorry we don't know what's causing this. Come back in a few days if it's continued. I said well that sucks, but okay. I went home took Pepto and the next day diarrhea was basically gone. I get the bill in the mail. Nothing telling me why the cost was what it was for. Just total. It was $1600. I called and asked for a print out and then called insurance company and they said they have not gotten anything from the hospital. After waiting and hearing nothing. The payment was coming due. Insurance still said they hadn't received the claim and I still had no print out of why an hour cost me $1600. Excpecailly since no help was given. Hospital says they can put me on special plan but it would need to be paid within 10 days or so. They drop bill in half. I'm like really, so why did you charge so much in first place. Trying to just take advantage of those that don't complain. They drop bill to 850. I pay it. Still no word from insurance and no claim sent to them and I still have no print out of why it cost so much. This Friday I got a final notice For a $986 bill!!!!!! I call Akron and they say that I have to pay the physician bill now. What the heck!!!!;so that means that all in all people are trying to chrage me $2500 for around an hour visit where you don't help me at all. You have the nerve to tell me to come back as well. I said I don't have much money and I would leave if it would cost to much. They some how have no idea of any pricing. My small family of four on a first year teacher salary is pissed. I also coach. I don't have time to fine with hospital and insurance. It's not my job, I am a teacher not a hospital employee or insurance employee. No one will send me a billing statement of why it cost so much and insurance still doesn't have claim and they want me to figure it out. Very very dissatisfied.
