I’ve had all three of our children here. Our last baby was born in May of 2022 and we had the best experience with all of our nurses. My L&D nurse, Kayla, was so amazing! She was the perfect fit for me and exactly what I needed during delivery. She went above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about her. I also loved Allison on the antepartum floor! (I don’t know if I spelled her name correctly.) I spent a lot of time there due to preeclampsia and she was comforting & caring in such a motherly way. She took great care of me during my stay. I was admitted two times after delivery and once before. I had to go to the L&D Er (OBED) I believe 5 times total, so you can say I got to know everyone! Such a great experience and so glad I chose this hospital to deliver at.

Katy location is worst when it comes to staff. I've tried many many times to get a hold of a live person to speak about a paperwork that needed to be sent out to Katy memorial Hermann hospital which i already discussed with them while i was there. They never faxed it over to hospital due to which I am unable to make appointment with the hospital. I've been making calls since then, But the staff never ever picks up a call. I hope and wish they have someone who can monitor them and to observe what they are upto.I left approximately 5 to 6 voice mail but never got a call. Really dissapointed.

Patient: 80 year old male for a simple cataract .
The staff was not nice or cooperative. My dad was taken back for surgery at 9am from a 7am appointment and surgery did not start until 12.30pm after I asked to talk to a nurse because he was not in surgery yet. Put in mind he hasn't eaten or drank anything from the night before.
And honestly they could have just changed the monitors to keep me silent without actually taking him to surgery !! Because his doctors office mentioned he will be the last patient that day,
but when they changed his status to In OR on the monitor there was another patient still waiting in pre op, so I don't know who to beleive!

Absolutely love this place!!! Fast, efficient, very clean, and convenient. The staff are some of the best I have experienced. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Major issues between their billing office and their business office. Kept getting bills every month and then would try to pay and the billing office would say that I have no balance due. The business office wouldn’t return my calls. They refused to send me an itemized statement - and kept telling me to call my insurance company if I wanted to know what was charged and what was paid. The last guy was very condescending. Painful experience. I just wanted to pay whatever I owed and stop getting statements.

I spent about 2 weeks here a few months ago spread out between 2 different stays. The staff(cleaning, occupational therapists, nurses, and doctors) were extremely pleasant and attentive. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Overall, I was pretty happy here.

This next bit really is separate from the Sarofim Pavilion so I kept this review 5 stars.
The kitchen was a bit lacking. While some order takers were pleasant, others were rude and short. The food was also inconsistent although my doctor hadn't changed my diet. In some cases the food would be prepared completely different like having thickener added to liquids and solids being blended.
