During my time at Voyages, my experience has been mostly negative. I came here voluntary for suicidal ideation. I stayed for 11 days. The unit I was in was horrible, men were being innapropiate to me after asking multiple times to stop. The staff and nurses are not empathetic AT ALL. The nurses laugh and make jokes about the patients. The unit was crazy, loud at day and night. During the night the nurses would laugh and yell really loud waking me up multiple times. I ended up switching units because of how crazy it was. Since I was voluntary, when I asked to leave the doctor said he would take me to court and make me stay longer if I tried to sign the papers to leave. Other patients in my unit were told the same thing. Whenever i talked to ANY staff about leaving, they told me they couldnt help me. Anytime I needed something they would send me to a different person, then that person would send me to the next, so on and so forth. If you see any positive reviews from june and past. Completely disregard them because half of the staff left and they got new staff. They are horrible. There is also roaches, ants and other bugs in the rooms. They have uhealthy food. They also lied to me about my discharge date. Go anywhere else but here.

I was discharged on August 10 and they did not send all my prescriptions. This has disrupted my continuity of care. I am very disappointed!!

I work in healthcare, and I can tell you that a call to your insurance provider is dreaded by any healthcare doctor or facility. If you are not being treated properly, call your health insurance provider and let them know. Insurance companies do not ignore any complaint. Specially Medicare!
I read the google reviews after a love one spent 14 days at this facility , because I could not believe how poorly this place is being ran. And I agree, the lack of communication, and competent staff is among a list of problems this facility has. Unfortunately, these facilities are many operating in the same disgusting way.

This location didn't help me at all if anything they made it worse. i went in being depressed and wanting to join the other side. and i came out just wanting to get out and feel free and somewhat safe. this location DID NOT discharge me with a safe place to be and an even somewhat safe discharge treatment plan. the two-discharge staff don't come to even talk to you until the day of. you never really get to be part of your treatment plan and when you ask for time they give you tell you they will be back and they don't every come. the patient advocate never ever responded to multiple calls i made. the staff was ok there was a couple staff that cared about the patient on the 300 unit. the food was so unhealthy and not good for real and they don't even have a dietitian. fine another location. you dont even meet the doctor

I got sent here for fighting a girl in my residential program. Honestly, 2 stars. They had cigarette breaks, but you need to have your own or have someone bring them to you. The food was okay, company was alright, staff was fun, but not always understanding. Most boring psych ward I've ever been to, I slept the entire time.

This is a place I wouldn't send my pets too they are horrible about communicating with their patients loved ones I called a week straight to get info about my husband and neva got a call back about him at all, at the time of his release they were suppose to send his medicine to his pharmacy and hadn't sent anything over,I will never recommend anyone to send their loved ones to this place its horrible and on top of that my husband is worser than what he was when he got there !!

Hated every second being here the only cool people I met here I wanted to connect with outside and they took the paper they wrote their information on because it was seen as bad for my mental health. Honestly the worst experience I ever had would never go back again.

This place is horrible the staff here especially one guy has the nastiest attitude ever. My mom was sent here and they didn’t notify me about her treatments or anything but yet they can text me the day before she gets discharged to tell me that. Then they tried to threaten to send my mom to a group home if I didn’t answer my phone. I was at work so I didn’t have my phone so no consideration for other people at all. Then when I tried to see my mom they told me I couldn’t because she had certain visiting days no one told me anything about it . I called the clinic multiple times and I kept being put on hold saying that there wasn’t an agent available. All of this just to know if my parent is okay??? Then they transfer my moms medication far away from me even though I asked them to send it closer but the pharmacist said “why should she have to do double the work when the doctor could’ve done it” then the man tried to have an attitude with me so I gave him one back I do not appreciate the miscommunication and how dysfunctional this center is. Y’all need to fire whoever that man is who picks up from Angela’s phone number because he has no manners and is rude.

This facility and it's MD/NPs do a terrible job of communicating. They keep a patient for way longer than they should, even if staying there is actively preventing the patient from recovering.
IF you can help it, your loved one is better off recovering at home with your supervision than going to this facility or any facility like it.
If you try to communicate this to an actual provider (MD/NPs), you CANNOT get in touch with them. For 2 weeks, I asked for a call from the MD or NP and finally got one the day before discharge from an NP who basically said she is new and couldn't make any changes. This ONLY happened because one of the nurses basically begged them to call me.
As much as I think the facility is run terribly, I want to say I think the nurses and aids are doing their best and some are genuinely kind. They are also overworked. but it seemed they tried their best to help. Nurse Binoy Joseph was a big help and gave me a sense of relief in another wise terrible situation.
Predictably, there will be a message from the facility in response to my review - I just want to say I spoke to them during the stay. Though the gentlemen was kind, I see no evidence that calling the facility hotline made any difference. Maybe they are workng on it and will make improvements in the future, starting with hiring another psychiatrist who has the bandwidth to include the patient's family in the recovery plan, or maybe a portal where the provider and family can communicate.
