I really enjoyed being a patient here at Voyages as well as receiving therapy due to my manic depression and anxiety. I was admitted September last year and I was opportune to celebrate my 33rd Birthday on October 1st and it was a memorable day. The medical techs, doctors, nurses, and the staff gave me the best advice and treatment that I needed. The therapists are so helpful. I did get a chance to meet some people that I know personally in the community and I knew for a fact that this was a retreat away from the stress. I’d like to thank the staff for their support, service, dedication, and commitment to really making a difference. Special thanks to my good friend Amina Anugwom who is one of the nurses here who suggested this to me. Special thanks to Crystal, Darnell, Dawn, Dami, and Tasha for their generous help towards my mental health. It's by the grace of God that I am able to find joy in the struggle and have friends that are willing to be there for me. Thank you and God bless.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is great to hear you felt supported and benefited from the care provided during your stay. Your kind words are appreciated and will be shared with our team!
Be warned stay away from this facility!!! I would give it negative stars if it was possible just about everyone I've had to deal with for more than a few minutes all had the worst attitude and don't give a damn about you. Rolling their eyes like they're being bothered when you're just hoping to get questions answered and good luck with that since communication is nonexistent.

This place is terrible. No communication, no answer phones. When you go to the facility, they are rude and not organized. They didn’t give back my father clothes, they loose his belongings. I hated this place at all.

My experience is consistent with many of the complaints reflected in other reviews of Voyages Behavioral Health of Sugar Land.
There was little to no communication with our family throughout the process. Staff made no attempt to gather patient history or understand the incident that led to placement, which is essential for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate care.
I repeatedly called with concerns and questions and did not receive return calls. The same lack of response occurred when I tried to discuss discharge planning. There appeared to be no continuity of care or coordination with the family.
Ironically, the only call we received promptly was regarding financial responsibility and payment.
Families deserve transparency, communication, and collaboration when a loved one is receiving behavioral health treatment. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing this facility.

Be honest we had problems at first with admission of my sister, Was unable to get information, I call the guy who handles complaints, he assured me that it would be taken care of.On the same day.Very great therapist Roma. Call to keep you up with the patient.
received an update on her condition. She called also. What I came to realize that the information is private on a patient. They are limited., talk to Ryan if that would help anyone. He was awesome . He answered the questions maybe it wasn’t like some like, as far as the patient , Dementia is a terrible disease. Sometimes you can’t get them to complete daily tasks until they are stable and /or properly medicated. Now the staff they are doing the best for follow up. Have to wait a little longer, to see what the next steps.

Do not send your loved ones to this facility! These people do not communicate at all! My father was admitted on a Sunday night, no one reached out to me regarding his history or what happened in regards to his being there. I had to call everyday to try to talk to the therapist, nurse practitioner and doctor. The staff would tell me that they would give the message to them and they would call me back. In the meantime I would visit my dad on tuesdays, fridays, and sundays as allowed and everytime I went to see him he was worse than what he was before going there. He told me they were giving him up to 6-8 medications and wouldn’t tell him what it was for. It took a week before the nurse practioner finally called me back to tell me that my dad was only being given one med not 6-7. He also said that my dad was not participating and not coming out of his room. I had to wait another whole week before someone called to discuss discharge plans because no one would return my calls and I was eager to get him out of there. Everytime I tried to call my dad they told me they would give him the message to call me but he never did. Everytime I went to visit him, he was so scared and frightened saying that they were hurting him. I left him clothes but he was always in paper scrubs when I would visit saying that they had his clothes and he didn’t have anything to wear. He would be barefooted and shivering when he would come out to visit me. He was unkempt every time I visited. Upon discharge I saw a paper that showed they were giving him 6 medications after they had lied and said he was only taking one. Then they had him with diagnoses of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s which he’s never had in his life. When I asked where they got this information because it was wrong no one seemed to know anything. I couldn’t get my father out of there fast enough! Horrible, horrible place and he still has trauma from being there. This place needs to be shut down!!

I received treatment and supportive services through Pam Voyages while managing anxiety and depression associated with endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic inflammation. During this period, my condition significantly impacted my mobility and ability to drive, particularly around surgical procedures.
The care team demonstrated professionalism, consistency, and compassion throughout my treatment. I would like to acknowledge Therapists Crystal, Donnell, and Dawn for their therapeutic support, Administrator Latasha for effective coordination and follow-up, and Transportation Specialist Francoise (Mr. Red) for ensuring safe and reliable transportation when needed.
The team regularly checked in during challenging recovery periods and provided encouragement that supported my continued engagement in treatment. Overall, my experience with Pam Voyages reflects a high standard of coordinated, patient-centered care. Thank you and God bless you all. Clementina N. February 2026

I really have enjoyed my experience at voyages. I came here after going to westpark springs and having a negative experience cause they tried misdiagnosing me with a personality disorder. But the staff at inpatient and outpatient are incredible. They are patient and treated me with respect and kindness. This is where I’d recommend any family or anyone to go

The only reason I left one star is because there was no option to leave zero stars. I was taken to this place that they call a mental health recovery center on a perjured document. I arrived there with a complex fracture in my left big toe which affects your walking abilities. It took them 36 hours to get me to the ER and they were told I needed to return after the EDO Hold was over on Monday to see an orthopedic surgeon due to my very complex medical conditions and they did not take me nor did they give me the number so I could call the specialist. Furthermore I was not released on the date. I should’ve been for a reason. No one would tell me. I asked over and over repeatedly for a mental status as I have never been diagnosed With anything other than PTSD after my intestines fell out post surgery. I was denied my inhaler when I needed it due to an anaphylactic reaction to food and a nurse was standing 6 feet away and told me you have to wait till I pass meds at 9 o’clock, even though though inhaler was due, and she watched me as I eventually no longer could sit upright in the chair, and I fractured my tailbone on the floor of the community room. They left Me on the floor for 42 minutes while two other patients slowly helped hoist me up into a wheelchair. I begged them to take me to the ER. They refused and said they would call on dayshift. I am a nurse and I kept telling them that and I said this is a spinal cord injury. It is radiating down my legs. You need to take me to the ER instead, they picked me up by all fours and flung me onto the bed with a spinal cord contusion. It was not until the patient advocate insisted on an x-ray at 11 AM the next morning over 12 hours later, that they did the x-ray that confirmed I did in fact have a fractured tailbone. I did not get to the ER until after 7 o’clock at night 24 hours after the injury. I had staff put their hands on me while I was trying to hold study on the door to my room. I never had a mental status as I said I was put on a medication that I have been put on before for PTSD because they insisted I had to take some medication and it gave me graphic nightmare nightmares of the trauma I have had in my past. Every time I was told OK your holds up it’s time for you to go home. They would only let me call the person who filled out the form and purged himself and put me there by rights. They should’ve dropped me off exactly where I was picked up. By law under the state of Texas, if there isn’t an EDO hold placed on a patient, they are to be taken to the nearest facility. I was five minutes away from one instead I was taking all the way to your facility in Sugar Land, where I had the worst treatment I have ever had in my life at a hospital. If you can call yourself that I have very severe health condition conditions. I was denied the medication medications that keep me from going into kidney failure by the time I left my CT showed that my stomach has stretched over 12 inches due to this. I have major grievances with your company and your facility.

My daughter was placed here by her doctor. Upon being discharged, my daughter waited for her transportation to take her home. My daughter had only been alerted to the fact she was leaving with in minutes. It took her a few minutes to get her ride on their way. The Voyages offered to Criminally Trespass her from the property while she waited for 10 minutes, she had to physically step off the address of the clinic. My daughter is a college graduate, a kind and well spoken young lady, with nothing but peace in her heart. She had money for an uber. These folks were inhumane and the most unprofessional group of so called professionals I have ever met. When someone you love is in a mental health crisis DO NOT SEND THEM,TO THE VOYAGES IN SUGARLAND!! What kind of place is this?! We trusted our doctor by sending us here. But, what kind of facility cares for your mental health on the inside of the facility ( supposedly) then says good luck out there, btw, the cops will be here soon to walk you off the premises if are waiting on a ride?!?! So disgusted with these folks. They are truly a disgrace.
