Not sure what happened in my case. I was in the area and needed to have a mechanic do a simple oxygen sensor replacement since I had pretty much had done all the items on diagnostic report and that was the only item I had not gotten to. I just didnโ€™t have the time to replace it myself and was willing to pay the $250 for them to do it. The young man said they would replace the sensor but when his father brought out a stethoscope and asked me to listen to the engine and that it wasnโ€™t the sensor and more the oil pump and other crazy stuff I quickly asked them to stop and not to do anything. They had the gall to charge me for a diagnostic. Two days later after receiving a new sensor via Amazon, jacking up the Jeep and replacing the sensor, the Jeep was running perfectly and still is. Was this a one off bad service case ?? Not sure because the stethoscope scenario was unreal. Attaching photo of sensor I replaced. That was the culprit. No stethoscope needed ๐Ÿ™ƒ
