I am so grateful to the entire staff, especially the anesthesiologists and nurses. I had to undergo two surgeries in less than a month, and every single person who cared for me, nurses and anesthesiologists alike, made me feel safe and well looked after. Their empathy and commitment to help are amazing. They understand that anyone facing surgery arrives with fears, nerves, and other emotions and they make the experience easy and pleasant through their attentive care and positive energy. God bless every member of the team!

I visited Tops Surgical Specialty Hospital, for a preop appointment, yesterday. I was quite impressed with how clean the hospital lobby was, how friendly the Receptionists and Nurses were and the Lab tech, too. I wasn't aware, that they have been open for 45 years. I dont frequent that area very much, so I hadn't been there, previously.
This morning, I had an outpatient procedure, and was asked to arrive early. Check-in was easy, fast and I was called back, promptly. I was treated very well, courteously and professionally, by Caitlin, my Nurse. She explained everything she was going to do, before she did it. She advised me, which individuals were going to see me, prior to my procedure and endured that I was comfortable. I spoke with my doctor, Penner Schraudenbach, two anesthesiologists and the OR Nurse, Sean. Everyone was friendly and concerned for my wellbeing and comfort. I was taken into the OR, advised what was going to transpire and fell asleep. It seemed like just minutes passed, and I was waking up in Recovery. No unpleasant side effects or unbearable pain or discomfort. I highly recommend this facility for your future needs.

I showed up 20 mins before my appointment, completed the online forms prior to my appointment and upon arrival the entire process was seamless and employees were kind and professional. I completed my mammogram and the tech advise each step as it was being done. When completed I was advised when my results will reach me and my doctor. I was moved to another room to complete bone density. The tech again explained each step as we went through them. I appreciated how seamless, professional and kind the employees were given how uncomfortable mammograms can be.

Told to arrive 0915, arrived 0900, waited 2 hours before called in. Nurses were great. But was told since I ate the day before would not be able to get twilight drug for procedure, hence had to get local. All was fine and went well. My problem is should have been contacted several days prior to procedure not 3pm the day before. Low rating due to bad communication & long wait.

Just had my second opinion done with TOPS, have been here many times before but instead went thru another facility which could not even read the results right…so much professionalism and compassion is done thru TOPS…they are gentle and if you have to an ultrasound the radiology team comes in speaks to you right after. I will always use them because the treat you individually not as a number and from the front office to the actual techs and radiologists they are number 1 in my book!!
I’m Shannon Salinas now not Kozak and am super proud and happy I continue my care thru them

I have been to Top’s every year for my Mammogram since we moved to Kingwood. They are always professional, easy to speak to and ask questions and they take care of you in a timely fashion. They also remind you annually when it is time to make an appointment which is very convenient.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. They help you relax. My mammogram was fast and did not hurt as much as my last ones. My bone density test went very well that I even became sleepy during the procedure. One thing I can say and attest is that the staff have very good bedside manners. I love the professionalism.

I’m pleased say that I had a wonderful experience with my healthcare professionals.

First and foremost, Autumn listened attentively to all my comments and concerns. She then guided me through the entire process of my bone density scan, providing clear and concise instructions.

Next, I had my annual mammogram with Susan. She was highly knowledgeable and handled everything with professionalism. As this is a rather awkward test, it’s crucial to have a seasoned and experienced technician, and Susan certainly fits the bill.

The only time I felt uncomfortable was when I checked in at the front desk (30 minutes early). In my opinion, she came across very robotic. Shortly after, I had another doctor’s appointment and was trying to inform her so that we could all work together to ensure I wasn’t late for my next appointment. However, she told me that patients were called back according to the time of their appointment, not because they arrived early. She didn’t seem to care that I had other obligations.

Unfortunately, this has become increasingly common in the medical industry. Patients shouldn’t feel uncomfortable or like they’re bothering anyone while seeking medical advice and paying for it. I hesitated to say anything immediately due to the time constraints, not wanting my appointment to be delayed for any reason.

It would be wonderful if we could all show common courtesy to one another in our daily lives. This is something I strive for and hope others will follow suit.

I had my CEM mammogram done last week & once again all aspects of care and staff were great. My technologist, Hope did a very professional job and her care in positioning was outstanding! Scheduling with Keisha was efficient, flexible and easy even when I had to reschedule due to a conflict in my schedule. The radiologist, Dr. Nordmann came and gave me my results & once again the experience was top notch as is the facility. I will always return to TOPS for my care!
