This place is weird and a total scam. Just got an invoice for over 700$ from 2019 at a time I was fully insured. I don’t even remember this doctor visit to be honest but something is just fishy to get a email requesting me to pay hundreds of dollars years later. I will not be paying. Gth.

Google should gives us options to choose from zero to five stars. I would’ve chosen zero for this hospital, because this hospital is not for treating patients, it’s all about legally stealing money from patients. I took my mother to this hospital on 2017 for fever, and I asked the receptionist about how much will that cost and she stated it will probably be around 500 if I pay it from my own pocket, and I agreed. But later, this hospital sent me a bill statement due of 10,000- for a fever and my mom only stayed in the hospital bed for only one or two hours. And I emailed and called this hospital, and they neither give me any response nor the option to negotiate the price, and made me do a one time full pricey payment.

I wouldn’t recommend this hospital if you would like collection companies to bother you 24/7, and it will really hurt your credit score badly.

This hospital hands down is the best in the area from humble to Tomball I went to another er 2 times and was sent home without a diagnosis when I came here it was really my last chance. they took the time to really listen to my complaints and cared about my pain they checked off every possible thing until they gave me a diagnosis. I had been vomiting non stop for 5 days they really saved my life I am forever grateful with this team lovely staff great doctor he took the time to draw me a picture even ,this hands down the best place to be seen at.

Hopefully you read reviews when you have a life threatening situation and are looking for the nearest emergency room. Treatment was fine...but not $10,000 fine. My insurance covered 2k, so I'm just waiting for the 8k bill from the hospital now. Theres no way I can afford that. Not sure what I'll do.

UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER:

I hope anyone who experiences the same shellshock here quickly avails themselves of the Texas ER out of network mediation laws. I did, and my payment went from 8k....to $500.

I got charged a huge sum of $3,724,00 for an ultrasound. I am in Shock as to why I'll be charged that much for an ultrasound that lasted barely 20mins. The awful part about it is they never informed me they'll be an extra charge outside of my insurance which is supposed to be $768. 95.

Terrible place, I wish I could give 0 stars. My father went to the hospital for a kidney stone infection, stayed there for 2 hours and went through a CT scan. We co-paid $200 for the visit and paid $794 monthly. A year later we received a $10,094 bill for a hospital visit ALONE. We don’t know how much they charged from our insurance. Just go to another hospital, anywhere but here — no average person can afford these outrageous prices. There are so many better medical facilities around the area.

I went to this place for abdominal pain and was there for less than 2 hours and just got pain medication and sent home. Paid almost $400 before leaving the facility and then received anther bill in the mail for over $1000 after my insurance paid a good portion of the bill.

First off this is a zero rating review. Our daughter came in for stomach / abdominal pain and the combined time our daughter met with the nurse and physician was less than 30 minutes. So far, between our insurance and ourselves we have paid the CyFair site around $1,700 and I just received another invoice for close to $600.. Do not set foot in there. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into. I will not be paying this invoice as it would be unethical and immoral to do and I will not be complicit to being ripped off. I will continue to spread the word so as to eliminate this cancer and ensure broader public awareness against this illicit scheme. How dare they!

This place changed my whole perception of going to the emergency room. I used to dread the possibility of having to visit one because of my past experiences with long waits and inadequate care. From the moment that I stepped into this place, I knew that I was going to have a great experience. The receptionist, Jessica was SUPER friendly and extremely kind. Her warm presence put me at ease. She knew exactly what to do without hesitation. I was IMMEDIATELY seen by the nurses and doctors. They had me hooked up to the machines before I could even say Hi. The attentive care was far beyond my expectation. The nurses, Melissa, Lowell and Kevin asked the right questions to help me better explain my symptoms and reach a diagnosis. They were so efficient at their job that they could look at me and tell what was going on in the inside. IMPRESSIVE!!! Dr. Mitchell came in and explained EXACTLY what was wrong. Sometimes I have doubts about what I am being told about MY body because it all seems to be generic and full of personal opinions. However, he gave such a great description and real life examples and comparisons that I couldn't help but to feel at ease knowing that he was right on the money. He gave me instructions on self care and ensured that ALL of my questions were answered. I did not feel rushed or incomplete. I was in and out of this emergency room in 1 hour. This includes having blood work and x-rays done. Upon check-out, Jessica was right there waiting to give me all of my out-processing paperwork. I thought that I was going to have more to do but she took care of EVERYTHING. All I had to do was walk out and enjoy my day with rest and relaxation. The staff at this hospital is A-1. They didn't make me feel like I was a number to them. They went above and beyond and treated me with love, care and attention. The accommodations caused me to momentarily forget that I was in a hospital. If I am ever in need of care in the future, First Texas Hospital Cyfair will be my first choice! Thank you to all of the Staff.

I cannot accurately review the facility as I have not been there, however I have received bills of an alleged visit in late 2017. I’ve been dealing with the billing department for almost a year now with little progress. I have provided proof that I was at work in a different city on the alleged date of service and they have yet to provide proof of documentation that I was ever treated there. I am having trouble getting past the supervisor in the billing department to file a formal complaint with the board. The only answer I keep getting is that they are waiting for the facility to provide feedback on whether or not the bill is owed. Any help with the matter would be greatly appreciated.
