Budget-friendly downtown hotel with very mixed reviews — some guests appreciate the friendly staff, basic clean rooms and central location near nightlife and city attractions, but many report run-down rooms, cleanliness issues, odd odors and inconsistent service that make stays hit-or-miss, especially at peak times. We’ve stayed on multiple times, and though it’s a “value-priced” hotel, we’ve never seen a bug, and it is always clean. We had one stay with a toilet problem that they took a bit of time to fix but it’s the best value that we have found. (Here as patients staying at MD Anderson).
I am impressed with their hospitality after hours. They were great. Very clean and comfortable. Reasonable price, compared to prices with a big inn & suites across the highway. That hotel across the highway was $140 a person, just for one person. I was very grateful and glad that I turned around and stopped at America's Best Value Inn and Suites -- staff was good and kind. Good breakfast and coffee excellent!! God Bless them.
