I buy a Mazda RX-7 last year in June cash and was told I'd get the title in a few weeks. It is now over a year and I still haven't received the title to it. The owner who sold it to me won't talk to me or return my calls.

Put a deposit for a car in April and was told 2 to 3 moths for it to arrive. it now almost November and no car. Have tried to call for an update they kept telling me they call me back, tried this 5 times and no call back from anyone at Shinku. Now their website is down and their socials are gone it feels like this company has become a scam to take peoples deposit and run with their money.
Update 3/3/22
Have called and spoken with someone at Shinku and they said that they will process my refund. This was around January 4th and their are telling me they have no idea when they can get my money back. They suggest a wire transfer but giving my details to them seems sketchy to me at least. I STRONGLY RECOMMENED NOT TO DO BUSSINESS HERE.

I didn’t think I’d ever get the title, but it did show up about a month ago. I wouldn’t be comfortable buying another vehicle here right now.
Update: Major issues with the Celsior. The mechanic lied to me about the car only needing bushings. The steering rack was shot, along with bushings. They told me plugs and wires and timing belt were done before I bought it, and that was also a lie.
I’m not seeing a website anymore, so maybe they finally went out of business. If you’re looking for quality vehicles, look at Duncan Imports in TN & VA. I actually got my title in 2 weeks.

Placed a deposit half a year ago. Gave me the run around for months. Finally was fed up with it and pretty much got ghosted. After making a public post about it I found out they had been doing this to multiple people for months. Some paying full vehicle amounts and never receiving them. I cannot express enough do not do business with them.

They sold me a car advertised as the wrong year and didn’t do anything to help resolve the matter.
The case was sent to the state and was confirmed for false advertisement. Be careful and do your research before you buy anything from here. The car also had a ton of issues after purchase.
Very unprofessional! Terrible customer service! Save your money and go somewhere else.

Couldn't have been easier. Professional, responsive, and I got the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. Did it all remotely and had it delivered to the Northeast. Would recommend and will likely be back for more. Thanks all.

By far the easiest car dealership I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Steven was extremely nice and took time from being at a car show to let me test drive a few cars. They were able to put the car on a lift and let me inspect everything before purchasing. The transaction was quick with negotiation to driving off taking only 30 minutes. Would recommend.

"Call us if you have any problems or need help acquiring parts." No A/C, no working windows, and the vehicle had a clearly rusted water heater valve that needed replacement at the time of purchase. Old car problems, no big deal, right?
Within days of purchasing the vehicle, the O/D light started flashing (indicative of transmission issues), and my speedometer went out. Some parts are out of production and only available in Japan, which was allegedly within Shinku's ability to acquire.
I've been calling the shop and texting employees to try to get promised help for the last month. The only answer I've gotten so far has been, "Our mechanic doesn't know what a flashing O/D light means." If your mechanic doesn't know basic diagnostics, you need a different mechanic. Do NOT trust this shop. IF you buy here, get the vehicle professionally inspected because you WILL have problems.

Shinku Classics has good priced JDM cars that are well maintained for their age, compared to other importers who generally overprice and/or have the condition of their vehicles in decent condition. My Toyota Aristo was not overpriced and I was never pressured or hassled into making my purchase. I got all the answers I needed when asked about the vehicle and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to others.
