The poor reviews I was reading really had me worried when I found out this was where I was being sent. After getting there and seeing for myself that most of the bad reviews were true -to a point. This place could be run a lot better, with some proper management and more staff. They really need to separate the “high need” older dementia patients. As a younger person that was there for making a bad decision, I felt like it was more of a distraction/set back to my recovery. About 50% of the staff have some issues they need to take care of if this is the line of work they are choosing to do. The other 49% of the staff I thought were pleasant, to a point. There was a 1% nurse that I would like to give 5 stars to- her name I believe was Abby. Every time I would see her she was always pleasant AND professional. Very friendly and always helpful if i had a question she would find out for me if she didn’t know the answer already. The staff could be so much better if they all were like her. Thank you for making my stay a little more pleasant!
