If you have the chance to be taken to River Oaks, DO IT!! Do not use Kingwood HCA!! All of the staff, doctors, nurses, therapists, etc.. are excellent. Food is good too! I live an hour away and gladly pass up Kingwood HCA to go to River Oaks. Shout out to Dr. Hernandez and Dr. Sgarbi.

Ricardo was extremely nice and friendly and professional .
As soon as I came in with my wheelchair and he helped me by moving the chairs out so my wheelchair could fit in the check in area. He also got up several times around to me so I don’t have to go up to him. He filled out my paperwork for me because I can’t due nerve manage on my hand.
Vanessa in PAT was very friendly, personable and helpful. When she did my lab work I didn’t feel the needle she put in.
She helped me locating a few items on Amazon to prepare me for my surgery.
Frank the nurse assistant was very attentive and he anticipated my needs that I didn’t have to ask for anything. He found out my family had not ate anything because they had been waiting a while until my surgery was over. He was kind to provide snacks and helped my mother adjust the tv.
He went beyond and above.
Everyone did small kind gestures, small talk, friendly smiles that seemed genuine that made me feel welcomed.
You can tell everyone is happy to be here.

I came here to detox off of 7 hydroxymitragynine. It is a harsh withdrawal. They were able to provide me w/ the medications I needed to have a comfortable detox. I am discharging today after being here for four days & I am feeling a bit better. Dr. Brebarian is flexible in how much time you need to stay. They also assist in getting you into a 30 day program if you want. The only bad thing I have to say is that the food isn’t that good.
