For shops, cafés, salons and trades
No website? Your business still gets a page.
Most review sites only list businesses that have a website. On Wowpilot, the bakery on the corner, the hairdresser down the road and the plumber everyone calls get a page of their own — with an address, a map pin and ratings from real customers.
Free · No website needed · Checked by a person, usually within a day

Who it is for
Somewhere people walk into, or someone they call
If customers find you by your street rather than a web address, this is your way in.
Corner shops, boutiques, florists, bookshops, market stalls.
Bakeries, takeaways, bars, food trucks.
Hairdressers, barbers, nail bars, gyms, tattoo studios.
Plumbers, electricians, cleaners, garages, tutors.
Online shop, app or software? Add it by its website instead — it goes live straight away. Add a business with a website →
How it works
Three steps, about three minutes
- Tell us where it is
Its name, what kind of business it is and the address. We drop a pin from the address, and you drag it to the right door.
- A person checks it
We look at every new place before it goes live, to keep out duplicates and places that do not exist — usually within a day. We email you either way.
- Customers rate it
Your page turns up in search and on your town’s page, and anyone who has been can leave a rating.
What your page gets
What customers check before they walk in
Placed by you and checked by us, not guessed from a postcode.
Ratings from real customers. Anyone can report one that breaks the rules, and we take fakes down.
Print it and put it by the till. Customers scan the code and rate you on their phone.
Your business is listed on your town’s page, next to the best-rated places nearby.
Claim the page and correct the address and phone number yourself, whenever they change.
Reply to ratings in public and invite customers to rate you after a visit.

Claim your page without a website
Your business may already be here — customers add places too. Without a website we cannot check ownership through your email domain, so a person checks instead.
- Find your business and open its page.
- Choose “Claim this page” and tell us how you are connected to the business.
- Add a photo of the shopfront, your licence or a bill in the business’s name — it speeds things up.
- We usually reply within a day. Sometimes we call the number on the page to check.
Questions owners ask
Does it cost anything?
No. Adding a business and claiming it are free. Replying to reviews and inviting customers start on the Basic plan, from $49 a year.
Who can add a business?
Anyone with a free account — the owner, someone who works there, or a happy customer. Only the owner can claim it.
We have a website too. Which form do we use?
The local one, if customers come to you or you go to them — put the website in its own field. You get the address, the map pin and a place on your town’s page, and you can claim the page with the website checks or with documents.
Why does a person check every new place?
To keep the map honest: no duplicates, no places that do not exist and no pages made to attack a competitor. If the place is already here, we point you to it instead.
How long until it is live?
Usually within a day. We email you when it is live — or, if we could not add it, we tell you why.
The address or the pin is wrong. What now?
If the business is yours, claim the page and correct the details. If not, write to us from the contact page and we will fix it.
