Best kept secret in Houston! East Houston Hospital is by far the best experience or second best which is owned by the same group. The Doctors and other specialists are all well established practitioners who have been around Houston for a long time.. The nurses are kind and responsive and the facility is very accommodating.
Their hospitality department is unbelievable and the food is amazing… Maris Solis is like the world’s Mom and makes sure that you get everything you want! Nothing like Mom’s cooking when you are sick Maria , Brittany and the whole crew make this a very special place . Thank you ladies so much!

Veronica N. was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived at the hospital, she was professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. Supervisor Gina and Danielle are star employees that describe everything to not have any miscommunication with patients and they really understand the engine of a human heart when there worried about any concern or there pain levels rise they are there to attack any patients discomfort and pain levels.

I was a little scared at first regarding using this Hospital since it is a small hospital and not well known but everyone’s really nice and helpful there at East Houston Hospital, (well except for the one lady at the ER desk she was rude and not helpful at all). Anyhow… The Facility is very clean, front desk employee always has a smile on her face and so very helpful. There were no odors in the waiting area or debris on the floor, no visible damages etc etc etc. We arrived at the time scheduled I checked in and basically was taken back to be prepped for back surgery immediately. All the nurses, doctors or other staff members were very nice, helpful and made sure to verified my information was correct health wise, insurance and etc. Once my surgery was over I was moved to a nice spacious private room where the nurse and other staff members were outstanding in their care for me and made sure I had whatever I needed during my recovery. ❤️🩹🫶🏻😊🥰 the food was delicious and the lady that prepared it went above and beyond to make sure it was good she even added some extra stuff for me so I could eat it. 🥰 The staff even allowed my friend(s) and family members in my room to check on me while I waited for the doctor to come by and see me and didn’t rush them out let them stay there entire time while I waited for my doctor to come by and let me know if I was going to have to stay over night or if he was going to allow me to go home. All and all I was at the hospital from about 6am to around 7/8pm. Would have additional care at this hospital if needed and I definitely recommend Dr. MacDougall and the staff there. 👍🏼👍🏼
Side note;
*** The only thing I have that is negative is the people verifying the insurance etc. screwed up and instead of calling me so that I could help them out they just canceled my original scheduled surgery and when I showed up I was told that I wasn’t approved and I went off on them because I had the paperwork from my insurance showing that the surgery was approved until a certain date. These people are at another site I believe but no matter what someone should have called me that Friday before my surgery on Monday. ***
Final thoughts for East Houston Hospital and Clinic: All in all I had a very pleasant experience with ALL the staff members on the day of my surgery, 11/3/25 that were physically at the hospital itself and also with my procedure. Everything went very well and the actual staff i.e. front desk, nurses, doctor's, the cook/kitchen staff etc at this hospital were AMAZING 🤩 THANK YOU 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏 for all y'all did for me while I was there. 🥰🥰🥰

I had a great experience here all the nurse where very sweet all willing to help with anything I needed always checking in on you to make sure you were good! I was to give a special shout out to ms brittney that help me when I first got there she took great care of me at a time I was down she made me laugh & I was grateful for that & also want to shout of ms Morgan she is the sweetest person always make sure ur good and just super sweet u can tell she enjoys ur job i enjoyed talking to her. Also wanted to shout out Rashad he was so sweet as well took great care of me came right in and off the back took care of me made sure I had everything I enjoy talking to him. Over all I have a great experience a lot of great member I just want to thank u guys once again.

Yesterday I had an unbelievably amazing mammogram! Ms. Pam is simply wonderful! She made me feel at ease right away. Her willingness to educate me on the process was a first for me. I didn’t have to hold my breath and stand on my toes while trying desperately not to move. I was really relaxed and comfortable. And not one of my pictures had to be retaken! That, too, was a first for me. The skin under my breasts was not broken and now I know how to properly remove them from the X-ray plate. Ms. Pam’s manner and technique should be standard procedure for every technician performing mammograms. No one should have to feel uncomfortable or miserable when it comes to such an important part of maintaining their health. Thank you, Ms. Pam!
Yesterday I also had a Dexa scan at this facility by Ms. Crystal. She was awesome, too. This was my first experience with this procedure. It went smoothly and better than I expected. We were able to converse throughout the scan, which really helped me to not focus on the pain in my knees. I think that was both deliberate and very considerate of Ms. Crystal. Thank you, Ms. Crystal!

We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Eidman! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The ladies at the front desk made check-in quick and easy, and the office was spotless and comfortable.
Dr. Eidman took the time to really listen to our concerns and explained everything clearly and patiently. We never felt rushed, and we left feeling confident about my husband’s care. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with genuine compassion — but that’s exactly what you’ll find here.
I highly recommend Dr. Eidman and his third floor staff to anyone looking for excellent medical care and an office that truly values its patients!
