I had two visits, unfortunately in a couple of days, one for myself and one for my son. During both visits both teams were awesome. Welcoming, helpful, fast, encouraging and friendly. Dr Tie, she was knowledgeable and asked the right questions, I felt safe in her hands for first time with doctors…I wish all docs would be like this! Nurse Albert and nurse Mark were very caring and knowledgeable. They were very detailed and provided top notch service. I was helped at every moment immediately. Technician Christiane was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, spoke with me, and helped me through the exams! Nurse Lee the second time was great, knowledgeable and funny at all and every encounter. He is very caring and thorough. Thank you to both teams!!!
Uninsured patient and This is my second time here. Everyone here from security to Dr Luu are amazing. The gentleman security saw me staggering in and immediately came to my aid. Upon check in the front desk staff was phenomenal and so patient. I hurt my back at work and couldn’t walk, stand, bend over NOTHING. And they treated me with such care and concern. The tech and the nurse was so genuine it felt so surreal. My nurse explained everything in detail and was super thorough! This experience made me believe in humanity again. I came in full of tears and am leaving pain free with reasonably priced prescriptions! Thank you to the team at St Luke’s tonight. You have no idea how much your empathy impacts a single soul!!!

Thank you for your kind words, Yvonne. We are so thankful for our talented and passionate team! 🙏
Had my first ever surgery here today and I can only say good things about my experience. The nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and everyone else that took care of me were great. I was really shook up before and after arriving but Nurse Stacy did everything to make sure I was comfortable and mentally ready for the procedure. She even prayed over me, which put my mind at ease more than she’ll ever know! From the minute I got there to the minute I was discharged, I felt taken care of and listened to. Forever grateful for this facility and staff! Now let’s pray for a smooth recovery 😩
Dr. Sharer is the best ER doctor I've been treated by. He was extremely caring about keeping me comfortable, his time management, and was determined on helping me with the re-attachment of my fingertip due to an unfortunate accident, all while throwing in some jokes to take the edge my unusual situation. He was also kind to the rest of the ER staff which says alot. My tech Alexy and 2 nurses Albert and please forgive me I forgot the other male nurses name I believe it started with a "P" were all great!! Overall great experience. This is definitely my ER of choice. Keep up the great work guys!!

This review is for the second floor of the St. Luke's Springwood Village hospital where they perform various procedures. We had a very unfortunate experience with a particular nurse there. Even though I know her name, I'm not going to publicly disclose it because I do respect her privacy. My dad went in for a procedure. This is the very first time that he would be sedated, and naturally we were very anxious. My dad also has confirmed diagnosis of respiratory disease, which is clearly documented in his medical records. In fact he sees a St. Luke's pulmonologist. I asked the nurse if there is any way that I can ask if the medical professionals performing the procedure and the post-op care nurse will be willing to wear a mask due to his respiratory disease and the high risk of being very ill from any infections such as Covid. The nurse immediately snapped at me and stated that no one can make them wear a mask because the hospital no longer required staff to wear masks. Her reaction was so uncalled for and obviously very political in nature. I was shocked and speechless for a few seconds. First of all, I did not ask HER to wear a mask. I did not in any way demand or try to force anyone to do anything. I am of the belief that everyone has the right to choose what is best for them. I did not think that simply asking a question out of concern for my dad would have warranted such an unkind and petty response. This nurse became irate after I asked her a simple follow up question. I asked what they do for patients that are immune compromised and need extra care or precautions to be taken. You know what her response was? She said verbatim while staring me down "we have seen patients sicker than your dad." What she meant was our concerns are invalid and irrelevant and she doesn't have to answer that question. She also said that her grandparents got Covid and nothing happened to them. Okay I'm very relieved that that was the case, but what does that have to do with us? Even though Covid is not as severe as before, but a percentage of people who catch Covid can still have very severe symptoms or worse, die from it. This is fact, and I couldn't believe she was trying to tell us anecdotal stories to prove a point. I almost wanted to cry because I was just so worried about my dad and she was being so very unkind, almost callous. All I wanted was for him to be safe. But she could not hide the disdain on her face at that moment. Imagine your loved one is going in for a procedure about to be sedated and this is the nurse that is taking care of them. She showed no compassion or understanding, which is so ironic considering that St Luke's is supposed to be a Catholic establishment with Christian values. In comparison, when the anesthesiologist and the surgery nurse came in, they were so professional and had no issues with asking the other medical professionals to wear a mask as a precaution. It just made it so obvious that this selfish nurse only cares about her own politics and that she has no qualms about causing her patients undue stress and potential harm. I've just never encountered such an unethical healthcare professional. What happened to her hippocratic oath? I was hesitant to write this review for fear of retaliation if we were to go back to the hospital for any further treatment. However I thought about it long and hard, and I feel very strongly that this nurse really needs training on bedside manners, empathy, and basic medical facts. One other issue that showed the lack of care by St Luke's Springwoods Village is that they rushed us out of post-op observation without disclosing to us that my dad could potentially have trouble urinating after the sedation. So when we got home and he couldn't urinate for hours we were very concerned. I called the number that the nurse gave me many times and NO ONE ever picked up despite their claim that this was supposedly the on-call number. We received a callback 3 HOURS later telling us to contact my dad's primary care doctor. There is absolutely no accountability!!

Avoid this emergency room department if possible! ! ! Please ! !
The nighttime nurse seems to hate her job and will not treat you with care. She treated my crying baby like a huge burden she had no patience. I wouldn't trust her alone with my child. Something is very wrong with her and how she does her job. They gave my son the wrong dosage amount on his prescription and it was pointed out by the pharmacist. When I called to get the right one they were extremely rude.

The compassion and level of care that we recieved at this facility on Saturday night was really quite remarkable. Within 5 minutes of our arrival my wife was in a room receiving a breathing treatment for a Covid, as it turns out, induced asthma attack. We are truly grateful for the compassion and empathy with which we were treated.

If you compare with houston Methodist location then its just 5 star. Because they took me inn right away and did what they can. Staff was very sweet and tried to help and provided support as best as they can.

Hello, we're glad we could be here to help! Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. 👍
Never had to call 911 from an emergency room before. 😭 A bunch of unempathetic monsters running the show over here.
I was transferred from an urgent care to here via ambulance. I Was given a haphazard swab. One circle around the rim of my nose 😮 and I knew then it wasn't done right. When I got to the E.R. they ran every test in the book for 3 days straight except a covid test even though I was pleading for them to check my thyroid, check the goiter and run a covid test. The Dr. Would not budge and ran every test for things I knew I didn't need.
Finally he came in and said "Open your mouth" looked inside and "your free to go home". I basically had to throw a fit in the hall to get the test ran....low and behold it was positive. Because of my Hashimotos, the goiter on my neck has now swollen so large I can barly swallow.
I woke up in screaming pain and laid here crying my heart out for over an hour just to get some help. I ended up having to call 911 just to get some pain relief. I feel very anxious about the lack of care or concern I've received here.
