I really wish I could give the care I received here less than 1 star. If you’re planning to deliver here read carefully.

I was scheduled to be induced 10/19, everything thankfully went well, my delivery went beautifuly and my doctor (Dr. Oliver Batiste was amazing), but after that I felt entirely rushed and unheard here, I understand the need for rooms in delivery, but I was so rushed out of there I felt my husband and I didn’t get to enjoy or skin to skin moment or any moment truly after my delivery. Once down in post partum, everything hit the fan but it wasn’t until I came home I realized how neglected and treated so poorly I was here. I got nothing explained to me about postpartum care, no one walked me to the restroom for the first time (yes my husband was there but busy with baby) , I was just thrown to fend for myself in that aspect really, never asked if I needed anything or the baby, the baby station they set there was nearly empty and never asked to be restocked, my doctor did ask if I wanted to go home and in that moment I regret not saying NO and advocating for myself. The day I went home I HAD TO CALL THE DAY NURSE I WAS STUCK WITH TO REMOVE MY CATHETER I ALMOST WENT HOME IN, i felt complete rushed to get out of the room and oh my husband wasn’t given any helpful information on where to pick us up, I had my 9 year old daughter with me a stroller and myself to walk down the main lobby BY MYSELF WALKING POSTPARTUM, that lady had some audacity to walk with me as if she was any help and just straight up useless. This ruined my entire experience here, and I KNOW is the cause and trigger for my postpartum depression, and I know it would be brushed off as that but I KNOW within myself that caused me to feel every emotion after that, and unfortunately this hospital won’t give me my experience that I deserved and I’ll forever have to live with that.

Went there a few months back felt something snap in my throat lost my voice immediately went to this place, I have united healthcare insurance, it was late but was worried about my pain and voice, I payed my deductible, but several months later I get a call from collections for a physician fee, no email or other notification just straight to collection's, was not informed about this charge upfront, even after paying my deductible and my insurance paying their part. They didn’t do anything but take my vitals was told to suck on cough drops and felt around my throat, glad I got a second opinion from a real doctor at Numed paid cash there and they treated me for a few months but got me right. Expected more from memorial Herman looks like they’re just in the business of scamming the insurance companies and squeezing every cent they can from their patients, will be reporting to the BBB hope they can assist with resolving this issues, if not for the very least get them to look at their practices a bit more closely.

I do not recommend this facility. I feel the patient care was sloppy and unprofessional. It appears that the center seriously overbooks patients (or the surgeon does) without regard or respect to their time and comfort.

We arrived at 11:45 a.m. for 12:00 appointment for cataract surgery. All documents were complete and payment made in advance as instructed. Taken to administrative area about 12:10 and to pre-op at 12:45. My husband told the anesthesiologist that he was extremely bothered by anything touching his eyes. He gave him one oral pill, the procedure was initiated, and my husband stopped them to say he was too aware of what was happening, so he was given something in his IV and had no clear recollections of the procedure. We were told that I would receive text messages updating me on his progress. I received none. Post op, the nurse delivered him to the pick up area outside with no protection for his eyes. I had to request it.

Second cataract surgery - arrived at 11:45 a.m. for 12:00 appointment. Again, everything had been completed in advance as instructed. Taken to administrative area at 12:45. Taken to pre-op at 1:20. Again he explained to the anesthesiologist that he was extremely sensitive to things in his eyes and told him about the prior surgery. The anesthesiologist looked in his file, saw no mention of the addition to his IV in the prior surgery and said, “well, sometimes we forget to write things down.” He gave him extra oral pills but nothing in his IV. My husband told the physicians that he was aware of what was going on during the procedure. The anesthesiologist didn’t do anything else, so my husband was aware of the procedure itself, and listened to the two physicians discussing who was coming to work the next day while they worked on him.

Again we were told that I would receive text messages updating me on his progress. I received none. When the nurse came to tell me his was in recovery. She giggled and said, “I tried to text you, but I guess I have the wrong number.” When she brought my husband outside to the pickup area, he had no protection for his eyes.

I went to the front desk to ask a question about 2:45, and there was no one there. I do not recommend this facility. Time will tell if we recommend the surgeon.

Came in for eye surgery, was incredibly nervous about the surgery. Asked repeatedly to speak to the anesthesiologist. Prior to be rolled out of pre-op, while waiting to go into surgery, after getting into surgery room. Each time my request was rebuffed as they were more focused on there pre-op tasks. I was fairly awake during the entire eye surgery. I would not recommend this surgery center.

If i could give them 0 stars i would. My dad got off work to go there because he had Covid symptoms. He got there at 7:15. They took his vitals at 8. They didn’t get him into a room until 11 just to only take his vitals again and leave him sitting for over an hour. He was there for over 5 hours and they did nothing but check his vitals twice. Very unprofessional. DONT GO HERE

If I could I would not even give this place one star I had a dermal in my face and the lady suggested I go in the bathroom and rip it out of my face if I wanted the MRI that bad. I have gotten MRIs before I didn't understand what was so different about this one because the dermal in my face is not metal but they refused me and turned me away unless I wanted to rip the dermal out of my face.

Very uneducated and Neglectful staff. If you’re looking to have your baby here find a new hospital. The nurses give misinformation, don’t know what they are talking about and don’t do their jobs. You’ll be waiting for results you need in a timely manner and they never show!

Please note: if you are not an athlete and if you are in a wheelchair/ non weight bearing there is NO point to wait for the PT initial evaluation at this place!! Save your copay and time they will NOT see you as a patient and just send you to another Memorial Hermann facility for another PT evaluation.
-Is this just a revenue generating activity?
-Why should our insurance be charged for two PT initial evaluation at 2 different MH location?
There is a clear disconnect here between orthopedic surgery side and referrals to this place.

This is Memorial Hermann Sugar Land valet service who was rude and inconsiderate. My husband was discharged on 7/16 and no parking anywhere. I asked if I can park my car in the front so I can get my husband with his stuff and she rudely told me I have 15 mins. Instead of offering to park my car if I cant park there and understand that patients can be slow given they are sick but instead she was not understanding. She instead spent time playing on her phone and the other guy.
This is bad customer service especially with with patients. Im livid.
