My dad is currently at PAM Rehab in Sugar Land, and his experience has been great. He has been here several times over the years, and each time the staff has been kind, attentive, and truly invested in his care and recovery.
The therapists, nurses, and support staff go above and beyond to make patients feel supported and respected, and it gives our family peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands. We’re very grateful for the consistency and quality of care he continues to receive here. Highly recommend PAM Rehab Sugar Land.

Pam Rehab is an amazing facility. My 94 year old mom has been there 3 times in a very acute state. Each time she’s been discharged walking on her own. The staff is friendly and amazing. OT/PT staff are always helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re so glad to hear your mother has received such excellent care and made strong progress during her stays. We truly appreciate your recommendation and will be sure to share your kind words with our staff!
I would not recommend this facility for any inpatient or overnight stays—especially not for a loved one. Their outpatient physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) day services are great, but that’s where my positive comments end.
I stayed here for five nights after leaving the hospital, and the contrast between day and night here is stark. During daytime hours, the place appears well-run and professional, which likely explains some of the glowing reviews. However, after shift change, the environment changes dramatically. Calls for help and yelling from patients become constant. Pressing the call button routinely resulted in waits of over an hour, often two, before anyone responded. More than once, staff simply entered to silence the light and say, “Someone will be here shortly,” with no follow-through.
On the day before discharge, blood was drawn for lab tests. After I returned home, I received a notification with results that were clearly incorrect and almost certainly not mine. I immediately called and spoke with the charge nurse, Shay, who assured me she would investigate, contact the lab, and call me back. She never did.
This incident is unfortunately typical of the nursing care here: disorganized, unresponsive, and unreliable. The facility has the potential to do much better, but it appears profit takes priority over proper staffing and patient safety, especially during the night.

My stay at PAM was amazing! They helped me meet all of my goals. The therapist did an excellent job. Tammy, Vanessa, Elsa and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. Thank you to everyone that took care of me, I happy to get back home to my own bed. If you are looking for a place for rehab this is the best place to go!!!

We’re thrilled to hear about your experience and that you felt supported during therapy! Thank you for sharing your kind words!
Overall, the experience was ok. The place is clean and people are friendly. There are times when we had to follow up with nurses for questions we asked. We understand that they are busy and it is not a big problem. However there is one thing that made me write this review. One doc came in and checked on our family member. When I asked him questions , he seemed very impatient and told me that he explained to me 3 times already ( which I don’t recall ) and that he has his family waiting for him. I appreciate that he checked on us late in the evening. However he is a doctor and we are his patient. He has the responsibility to attend to his patent and address any questions. He should’ve planned better to make sure he allocate enough time for each patient and answer any possible questions. We should not be punished by the doctor’s poor planning. So please, please set priorities right, do a better job planning, do a better job scheduling, do a better job helping your patient and their family, as we wanted to believe our loved one is in good hands.

I came for therapy after a total knee replacement and the place was terrific. They work you hard but that’s what you need to get functioning again. All of the OT’s and PT’s were awesome, Friendly, professional and caring. I want to give a shout out to Ethel on the nursing staff. Thanks everyone for making my stay here a success!

Your recommendation means so much to us and we're so happy to have earned it. Thank you again for taking the time to let the world know about your positive experience. Have a great day!
My father recently stayed at this inpatient rehab facility, and while there were some positives, overall our experience was disappointing.
The therapy team was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in my father’s rehabilitation. As a therapist myself, I felt confident in the care he received from the therapy staff and trusted their clinical judgment and dedication.
I specifically chose this location because I also work at a PAM facility out of town, and based on my professional experience, I expected a high standard of interdisciplinary care. Unfortunately, the nursing care did not meet those expectations. Communication from the nursing staff was inconsistent, and it was often difficult to get clear answers about my father’s day-to-day care. Requests for assistance were not always addressed in a timely manner, and it was concerning to feel uncertain about whether his basic needs were being adequately monitored outside of therapy sessions. Discharge planning was also poorly coordinated, with limited communication with case management. Most concerning, my father developed two new wounds during his stay, which we believe were related to inadequate turning, repositioning, and changing. This was extremely distressing, as preventing skin breakdown is a basic and critical component of nursing care.
I do want to acknowledge that Dr. N took the time to listen to my concerns, provided thoughtful guidance, and offered sound medical advice. I truly appreciated her expertise and responsiveness during a difficult situation.
Inpatient rehabilitation plays a critical role in recovery, and while the therapists provided excellent care, the quality of nursing care and communication significantly impacted our overall experience.
