Our experience was amazing with the exception of discharge. Leaving with the discharge experience we had was really unfortunate. We have called and have spoken with the charge nurse on the floor, Becky. To receive such great care and then have such an awful discharge is crazy.
We had absolutely no information about discharge, but the nurse comes in saying we were going downstairs for discharge. We were in discharge downstairs for nearly THREE HOURS as the nurse upstairs had completed zero paper work, no call ahead telling them we were being sent to them, no d/c orders completed, no prescriptions called in. Results of CT ordered and completed were not read to us. We asked and were told, " I think it was alright" as we were being ushered out the door of our room. The pacemaker card and manual could not be located. It was horrible.
The majority of our experience was very good. Discharge was ridiculous. It did not need to be that way and we still question what on earth happened? Why were we dumped downstairs with the staff who knew nothing about us and were trying to get everything pulled together for us. The staff in the discharge area went out of their way to help us and we deeply appreciate their efforts. The ball was dropped with our assigned nurse on the 400 unit.
Like I said though, everything else was amazing. Surgery went well. Staff was accommodating and professional. Great experience with the exception of D/C.

Fantastic nurses! Ania and Miss Eleanor on 3rd floor were AMAZING! THE recovery and surgical teams were amazing! They can improve on communication to the family when in a long surgery or recovery though. Need to work on giving updates.

I am pleased to say all the nurses were AMAZING in labor and delivery!!! I would like to mention 1 nurse Kay, she always made sure I was comfortable. Kay took very good care of us, I would like to give her a big THANK YOU and a big hug ❤️🫂 I will always remember her. For encouraging me through the contractions and epidural at the same time. Other than that the hospital staff is nice and the food service was great! I am very pleased.

We think we have an incredible staff too! It's always nice to see messages like this.
I had a total knee replacement. And the over night staff. Is way under staffed. I had severe pain to the point I was yelling. I don't yell. My companion walked to the nurses station. Two of them on their cell phones. Mark the tech guy came to try and help me., because my nurse was busy doing to intakes. But there was no excuse went the other nurses say that while I'm screaming in pain.
So the Director came in the morning, I told him all about it. He was kind. Out of all the staff. He was the only one that offered my guy anything. That's was really kind of him. I have the directors card. Ty for statement l listening to my issue. Other than that.. THE TEAM THAT WAS OVER ME.. WAS AMAZING.. SHOUT OUT THE TO SOUTH TOWER 3RD FLOOR NURSES ESPECIALLY MRS BELLA. AND MY NIGHT NURSE. I CAN'T RECALL HER NAME.
