I was there around 8 pm on a Monday. The checkin took just a few minutes as they already have my records through my family doctor. Before I even sat down in the waiting room, two nurses came out to bring me to a treatment room. Within the next hour, I had ultrasound, blood tests, urine tests (requiring a catheter), doctor consultation, and a CT scan. Then the doctor was back with a treatment plan. The nurse executed the procedure and brought immediate relief to my symptoms. This is followed by a third meeting with the doctor for referral and discharge instructions. I was out at 10:45pm with significant issues resolved and very relieved.
I've used the Methodist ER at Sugarland three years ago due to drug allergy, leading to two days of hospitalization. That went smoothly as well.
My baby's first (and hopefully last) trip to the ER was via ambulance due to severe egg allergy and even though it was the most terrifying thing I've ever been through, all the EMTs, nurses, doctor were so competent, calm, and nice. They were amazing at making me feel like everything will be okay and keeping me informed and calm. I have no doubt he got the best care possible. I've learned that being reasonable person allows the health care team to do their job most effectively and give you and your family the best results possible. I have nothing but love and respect for all the first responders doctors and other health care providers that saved my son’s life. Thank you so much to Dr. Apfel, nurse Josselin, nurse Daisy and nurse Morgan for taking care of my baby. You are all amazing!
Very apprehensive about going to Dr. for colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy. Had bad experience with last one 6 years ago. This time I went to Methodist hospital in Clear Lake.
Nursing staff was a 10 out of 10. If I could give 10 stars I would. They made everything very comfortable from warm socks to warm blanket. Joked and laughed together set everything at ease. When I woke up the first thing I asked for was coffee. It was there in 2 minutes.
Thank you to Dr. Millien, Tess O. and Jennifer.
Methodist hospital in Clear Lake did an awesome job.
Thank you.

If I could give Lillian Sanchez more than five stars, I’d be bribing Google right now. This woman is not just a nurse—she's a guardian angel in scrubs, a medical wizard, and possibly part superhero. When my wife suffered a lost pregnancy and it turned into sepsis and we went around midnight or so, Lillian swooped in like a caffeine-fueled Florence Nightingale and quite literally saved her life. I swear, I half expected her to pull out a cape from under that uniform.
From the moment she walked into the room, it was like the air changed—suddenly, there was calm, competence, and just the right amount of sass to keep my wife (and me) from completely losing our minds. She handled everything with a level of care and precision that made me wonder if she secretly has eight arms like some kind of benevolent medical octopus.
She didn’t just provide treatment; she provided humanity. She made my wife feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for. And she somehow managed to make me laugh even when I was on the verge of ugly-crying into a hospital vending machine snack.
Lillian, if you're reading this, I don’t know what kind of coffee you drink, but I owe you a lifetime supply. Thank you for being the absolute rockstar that you are. The world needs more of you, and quite frankly, you deserve a parade.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate the kind words and five-star review for our team, especially Lillian.
I came to the ER with severe abdominal pain. Once checked in, they triaged me immediately and ordered testing. My testing confirmed that I would need surgery. Dr. Uffort was the general surgeon on call and is an absolute gem! He answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. He spent at least 30min with me going over everything, which I don't feel is very common. This made me so calm and comfortable about my upcoming procedure. My ER nurse Alice was attentive and kind and she really tried making me as comfortable as she could while I waited to be moved to my room. My floor nurse Iliana, my pre op nurse Bailey, PACU nurse, and OR team were all simply amazing and I'm so grateful for all of them. I was well taken care of during my stay because I had a top notch care team who were all highly skilled in their jobs. I definitely recommend this hospital to anyone in need of care.
I gave birth here and I had the best experience, most of this was due to my incredible L&D nurse Irene she was so sweet, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable. Just knew exactly what to do. Anticipated my needs and took care of me to the highest level in such a vulnerable time. She made such a positive impact on my delivery. My husband and I will be forever grateful for her. Also my OB Dr. Diase was absolutely wonderful. I could tell she deeply cared about me and my baby’s outcome throughout the entire prenatal, L&D, and postpartum experience. Houston Methodist provided us as a whole with outstanding care
