This place needs to do better with scheduling surgeries. We were here at 6:25am and found out when we got here the surgery wasn’t until 11:00am and my husband is diabetic this is unacceptable. They ARE NOT doing right by their patients. All we get when we say something about this is sorry but it is not sincere as it keeps happening over and over again.

If I could give no stars that is exactly what I would give. My mom had a total knee replacement surgery and was admitted. Therapy was great!! The nursing staff was horrible!!!!Mom was taken the the bathroom put on the toilet she used number 1 and told the nurse ok I'm done she told her no I can't get you off the toilet pull the string and the next nurse will get you. I have alot to do and I have to give report, here is the string for you to pull and left. 😭😡 luckily my sister was there so she kept her sitting patiently on the toilet until someone else came 10 min later. This makes no sense to me. Being a nurse myself this is negligence and being a human being this is not a caring or compassionate place to bring your loved ones a nurse that truly cares for her patients would never put them in a situation to cause harm,you do everything you can do to ensure they are safe and they feel heard. Nursing is not about money its about caring for others and if you don't have that in your heart, you have no business working as a nurse!!!!

I scheduled a colonoscopy over a month in advance with Dr. Snyder. His scheduler, Aiesha, was fantastic about staying in touch making sure we had instructions and information about preregistration with this surgery center. I received a handful of messages from the surgery center and a message regarding preregistration about 4 days before the scheduled appointment. I completed preregistration the day I received these messages. I then received a call from Aiesha indicating I would need cardiac clearance per the surgery center due to a response provided during preregistration. I attempted multiple times over the next 2 days to contact the surgery center to no avail. Calling the main number, choosing opt 5 resulted every time reaching a voicemail box that was full and couldn't accept any more messages. I did try another option 3 and left a voicemail there asking for someone to assist. No call backs, no emails, no messages in response from the surgery center. I also updated preregistration with more detail attempting to explain there were no cardiac issues and I had previously seen a cardiologist who referred me to a GI Dr a few years prior. If I can't communicate with anyone,I certainly don't want to even move forward. The surgery center has not communicated once regarding the requirement for cardiac clearance. The last message indicates no issues and to just show up. I am definitely done with this place and going elsewhere, especially considering we are hours away and cannot afford to cancel plans already made at the last minute. They've cost us time and money. Don't bother with this place.

I pray they close this hospital down. This morning was a deal breaker for me. I never go to hospitals but was experiencing severe chest pains so I went to this hospital. Which by the way just happened to be close to where I live. Intake was quick but when it came down to my charts. The nurse attempted to give me morphine when it clearly said I was allergic in my charts. First red flag. Second, was when a lady came in trembling explaining she was going to pass out. The security guard was sleep and the receptionist moved at a speed of a turtle to get her a wheel chair and never helped her up. I attempted to with an IV in my arm that they sent me back out to the waiting room with until my results came back. Along with some other patients who themselves weren't in the best condition. Third, I came in at 3 o'clock went back out into the lobby at 3:50 I didn't get discharged till 9:30 because they stated it was only one nurse to discharge the whole emergency room. All of the nurses were more worried about door dash and Uber eats food deliveries. Let's just say I was happy to get out of there. Now this morning the incompetence continues. I call my pharmacy this morning to see if my medicine is ready since by the time I left my pharmacy was closed. Just to be told my prescription was never called in, never sent 😂 all I could do was laugh because at this point it's pathetic. I call the emergency room nurse just to be told that they're pharmacy has to look over the prescription before sending it, and they don't know how long that will take so they will call me. Mind you, it's a prescription for a simple antibiotic lol but in other words they really just didn't send my prescription over last night didn't notice this morning till I called and now have to do it and just feeding me crap so you won't look stupid. But hey at this point what can you do. But just never darken there doors again.

TL;DR
This place sucks, you don’t matter here.

Please please please avoid this place! We have been waiting in the ER for over 9 hours. I wish I was exaggerating. I saw a RN roll her eyes at a mister who was double amputee, when he didn’t answer to his name being called right away. (Blonde bob, sleeve on the left arm) The staff here are BURNT OUT and you can def feel all their resentments. They are dealing with people who are not well and there’s zero hospitality. A simple smile, some eye contact, or an even just a kind tone would suffice, but front desk treats the patients here like inmates in the county jail. Will speak to you without a single glance. If you’re going to ask a question, prepare to be treated like a leper. I won’t post the front desk workers name here but to whom it may concern we were here 09/17/2025 8:49PM

Scheduled for routine colonoscopy. Arrived before 8 am. Had multiple discussions with staff prior to procedure day that i have needle trauma & my husband is present when they insert IV. They reassured me multiple times over multiple days that they had a plan & he could be there with me. Waiting room was overcrowded, only one restroom (not great when you have done colonoscopy prep) & staff seemed unhappy to be there. When they called me back & my husband was standing there with me, they claimed to know nothing about it & family was not allowed. We reminded them about the discussions & they put us in a consultation room. Anesthesiologist came to speak with us. She told us she had something better than the usual meds i took for anxiety & that when they were ready to insert IV my husband could come back. This is where things went sideways. After signing my life away, she gave me THREE mko. Likely one would have been more than sufficient. This is a powerful drug cocktail, especially when combined with propofol for actual procedure. After a few minutes i have no further memory of events, only tiny flashes of recall. At some point they asked me what juice i wanted & i couldn’t even say the word apple. They gave me crackers but i could not even pick them up & get them to my mouth. I was completely out until almost 10 pm. Im lucky i didn’t stop breathing. I also woke up with unexplained scratches in my groin area. I called surgery center & Dr. Cusick’s office to discuss. I hoped for explanation, maybe some empathy for my experience. Instead the surgery center just claimed everything was “normal” and “went fine”. Doctor’s office never responded to concerns. Surgery center also claimed to have no knowledge of how i would have injuries to my groin area. Supposedly the nurse did not help dress me. I was most definitely a fall risk & since i was unable to walk or talk i don’t believe i could put on my bra with 4 clasps in the back. I absolutely would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Went for an annual well check up to Dr. Ashley and she put the wrong code as an office visit, therefore, I got a bill even though the well check up is free. Not caring, not detail-oriented provider.
As suggested I filled the form, but nothing has been resolved.
Very disappointed with services and would NOT recommend anybody to visit Dr. Ashley Okotie-Eboh. She did not even ask my consent to convert a well check up appointment into something else. She doesn't inform a patient, acts on her own. Not a reliable doctor according to my opinion. I regret visiting her.
Update: finally, they admitted they put the wrong code, and would reimburse me. But, no, still waiting for a reimbursement, and nothing gets resolved. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable business. I just wonder if I ever get the reimbursement from them.

Had the worse experience here. Recepetionist on call didnt tell us that we need to make separate appointment for blood work . I had a good 30 minute on call with her deciding time and date and discussing everything about our visit.. she told us to come fasting ..here we are fasting and waiting for a chance to have our blood work ... worse care system with memorial hermann ..never coming back here

The physician made a mistake in ordering equipment for my injury and rather than correct the mistake, the charge nurse, discharge nurse, and physician justified their actions and put me at greater risk of injury rather than simply fix the mistake and order the equipment that I needed to stabilize my injury.

Furthermore, they suggested I do another emergency room visit for another evaluation so they could either fix their mistake or give me the same disposition. My copay is $350 so I opted not to revisit the ER for another failed evaluation.

What they did was borderline malpractice. When I went to the specialist he said what they gave me was not even the standard of care for my injury, but of course the ER staff felt they knew better and tried to convince me otherwise. Had I listened to them the risk of Injury was even greater and I was in tremendous pain!

Unless you need to go to the hospital, an Urgent Care would probably serve you better. I do not recommend this ER.
