The medical staff were good. The billing was not. The facility's billing input the wrong CPT code for the procedure I had and billed for a surgery on the incorrect body part. This procedure occurred in 2023, and I still have been unable to get their billing department to fix their mistake.

I loved most of the nurses! My recovery nurses were amazing. I did question why they raised my Pitocin when i was already suffering but they said they needed me to progress faster. Not true. No need to hurry labor especially when i am already suffering. I was a low risk pregnancy. Every intervention was followed by another. Ended in c-section. Very high rates of c-sections here. Overall happy but unnecessary interventions.

My husband and I have used this facility in the past year, and they are super nice and professional. I would offer a 5 star review if I could get someone to call me back for the last month and several messages about getting a statement of paid amounts to what my insurance is saying I owe. NO ONE returns calls, no way to figure out how to access my statements online, etc. VERY poor customer service in this department and they make you pay when you arrive... per my insurance I've overpaid.

Staff seems indifferent. Bed side manner once you get to the back is like you are taking their time away from something else. If I did not adore and appreciate my surgeon I would have left. Definitely a subpar surgical center. If given another option for your procedure I'd look into it. One bright spot was Daniel with anesthesia he was super kind and caring.He along with my surgeon made me feel comfortable.
Also the post op care nurse was helpful and kind.

I was scheduled to see one Cardiologist (supposedly the best in the area) then they called and reschedule me for another cardiologist. This office is very busy. It appeared to me that they want to increase the number of patients they have when they should be focusing on giving better care to fewer patients. For example the doc I saw suggested an echocardiogram and said he will call me afterwards to let me know the results. I never received a call about my echo results. They also didn’t request that my cholesterol and sodium be checked for 2 of my blood tests. That’s when I decided to go elsewhere.

I got a sleep study from this practice and was provided to service I needed. Three stars for that.

The staff was irresponsible as I kept calling and left messages for my results as my doctor did not receive results for a month. But no response. On top staff was rude. As Finally spoke to a lady, who I told that I have been leaving messages for three weeks. She hung up on me, man the attitude.

Will not go back or recommend to others.

Went in Tuesday night around 10 pm for what I thought was severe heartburn, but after running several tests including blood work, a CT scan, and an ultrasound, they found I had a lot of gallbladder stones and an inflamed/infected gallbladder. I was later transferred to the main Greater Heights hospital around 6 am Wednesday morning.

The admission process was quick and efficient, and the representative who welcomed us and helped us with our initial paperwork was kind and understanding. The nurses, imaging tech, and doctor I received care from were also trying their best, but the reason I put 3 stars is because I feel like even though I kept telling them how much pain I was in and how the medication was not helping, I was being dismissed. It wasn’t until they found the gallbladder stones and infection that I felt they finally started taking my pain more seriously and finally gave me enough medicine for the pain to soothe.

I don’t want to blame a single individual. I know both the doctor and the nurses are under a lot of pressure to work in often understaffed environments and also have to navigate an opioid crisis.

I just wish they prioritized making the patient comfortable. I kept remembering how back in 2019, when I ended up in another ER due to apendicitis, they immediately let me in, hooked me on to an IV, and gave me morphine for pain and another med for my nausea. I didn’t really have to beg and beg for more care and attention like I did here.

Again, it was a different time and a different set of challenges but being a patient who was very scared and in a lot of pain in that situation was just hard. I hope policies change and that the hospital management provides the proper staffing and safety support the staff needs to care for their patients better.
