Yesterday I went into the Surgery Center for a knee replacement and all I can say is what a great team. From checking in to being released every person I came in contact with was friendly and professional. I really am happy that my doctor works with the Memorial Hermann Surgery Center The Woodlands. I felt comfortable and that I was in good hands as I went through the procedure. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I’m so glad I chose Memorial Hermann and Dr.Kwong as my PCP. The first time I met her I felt heard and understood. She empathized with my concerns and displayed professionalism. She has throughly explained my test results and explained next steps. I am grateful for Memorial Hermann and thankful for Dr.Kwong’s care.

One of the worst experiences of my lifetime , was abused tormented and harassed at this hospital. The Incompetence by some staff is unbelievable their social service/ case managers need to be fired. It is one pack of ignorance, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. They torment, harass and taunt patients, even the doctors sometimes don't know what the heck they're talking about. Write ups are done by ignorant people with no medical supervision and or personal opinions are used instead of professionalism , Absolutely disgusting , I suffered physically, mentally , and I have been traumatized by being in that hospital for eleven days. I was given a bad sandwich upon leaving that made me extremely ill. No doubt an investigation needs to happen. I was stabbed in my hand more than 9 times at 1 time. felt like I was electrocuted and my arm and fingers still hurts. Do these people have skills such as being phlebotomists? Do not think so!

My mother has been in this hospital since Thursday 07/30. I’ve seen one doctor in ICU who gave me minimal information. I’m responsible for her care after she’s discharged from this facility. I’ve told the nurses station multiple times to have an attending doctor call me so I know what her diagnosis is, when she’s estimated to leave, and what her aftercare is supposed to look like once she leaves. Apparently I need to pull her out of this place because nobody seems to care. Do not go to this hospital.

I went to the emergency room last night waited for five hours with no fluids no medicine or anything given to me. I am 10 weeks pregnant and when John the provider eventually spoke to me, he told me he was sorry that I “fell through the cracks” because it was so busy I have filed a former complaint against him and it will be going to the review board this is not acceptable for a 10 week pregnant woman to “slip through the cracks” and also be told that by a provider, John shame on you and I hope you get the consequences you deserve

Memorial Hermann does day surgery so well. They take care of their patients with the utmost care. I always feel I'm in great capable hands at the Sugarland location.

Do not have your baby delivered here. The best medical facility on the planet is about 30 minutes south in the Houston Medical Center (take your pick). Our daughter developed osteomylitis while in Northeast and had to be transported to Texas Childrens. It is not worth the risk. The stakes are too high to gamble. You can't slap "Memorial" on it and make it better. Make the drive.

Update: after getting an MRI about 6 weeks later, come to find out I had a severe compression fracture of my L3 vertebrae. No wonder I was in such pain!

As I was being pushed out of the ER on a wheelchair, crying because of my extreme back pain, which this hospital, utilizing a CT scan had diagnosed as "a bad sprain," when in reality I had actually suffered a severe compression fracture of my L3 vertebrae, I felt like an animal they had quickly looked at, then herded down a chute to turn back into the pasture. I'm finally getting it addressed after 2 months of severe pain. And they're in the process of expanding their ER to almost double. How quickly will they be herding folks through then?

I gave this place two stars because registration & intake was quick. Unfortunately the Physicians Assist Payal H. was extremely dismissive. I’ve been a nurse for over a decade (which I did not disclose) so for one I’m not quick to go to any ER/Doctor however I have had persistent symptoms for 5 days that I’ve never experienced. I have never witnessed this level of dismissiveness from a provider. Payal asked me which tests I felt I need, when I answered she proceeded to say that they don’t do any of those unless it’s a “real emergency”. I’ve worked in enough ERs to know that that’s simply not true. Her assessment was also subpar… listening to two spots on my back as I was speaking (what lung sounds are you hearing over the sound of my voice??). I inquired about other testing (nasal swabs) which she said they also don’t do in the ER (also not true, as this is one of the most basic tests in any ER). Lastly Payal told me to set up an appointment with my PCP for those tests. I questioned her on the fact that I would have to wait for an appointment and these symptoms have already been persistent for 5 days. She replied “yea, make an appointment” and abruptly walked out. I waited a few minutes because I wasn’t sure if she was coming back or not. When I checked with the ladies at the main nurses station they said yes, you’re dismissed. I was floored by the level of unprofessionalism & dismissiveness from a fellow healthcare provider.
