The had a crazy lady smoking in the Results Pending section and didn't do anything. The restrooms and lobby was filthy not cleaned the 9 hours we were here. I had to wait forever for one test and my pain medicine they were not attentive because they were so short staffed
You people need to schedule more nurses.

I went in because I had a septic gallbladder. The technician and nuclear medicine held me down under the machine and forced me to do the test. I don’t know that I will ever feel comfortable going back to this hospital because now I’m scared that if they’ll let one employee do it, they’ll continue to do it and I’m in a wheelchair and extremely weak on my left side due to a stroke.

My experience in the ER was extremely disappointing. The department appeared to be significantly understaffed, and I was told there was no ER physician available—only a nurse practitioner. The ER was overflowing into the regular waiting area, which made the situation feel chaotic and inadequate for patients needing emergency care.

Most concerning, my initial complaint was never physically examined. Despite still being in pain, I was ultimately sent home without what I felt was an adequate evaluation of the issue that brought me to the ER in the first place.

I understand that ERs can be busy and understaffed, but patients should still receive an appropriate physical examination and evaluation of their presenting complaint. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage the hospital to address its staffing and patient-care processes.

Amateur hour here in Labor and Delivery. We gave birth to our 3rd child here. Worst experience with procedures we have ever endured. Starting with pre op. The nurse was just ending her residency so she was having issues with the equipment including the IV. The bad experience started with her blowing my wife’s vein trying to draw blood. Then my wife experienced another new anesthesiologist training and even asked my wife where she felt the epidural needle while it was inside!!! That’s insane! So he obviously did that wrong because my wife was in intense pain during the c-section and had to start inserting Ketamine into her IV to calm the pain, making her pass out. It was scary being there while all this was happening. The experience of her previous c-section at memorial herman was painless and nothing like this one. We heavily regret choosing this hospital for the birth of our child. Aside from the operation experience, the post labor nurses were all great. The cherry on top of the bad is that im sitting here waiting for 50 mins on a hearing test follow up for my child because they messed up our scheduling and saw another lady that was scheduled after us. Amateur Hour!!!!! I will never recommend this hospital for anything!!!

TERRIBLE HOSPITAL!!!! As a first time mom I received awful care. My main nurse was so cold and seemed so dead eyed. No small talk or anything just quick questions and left the room.
So I showed up there 7/22/26 because my contractions were 15 min apart around 1am. Come the morning time they were 7 min apart and right before I left to the hospital they were 3-5 min apart.
They hooked me up to monitor my baby and the main nurse was so rough with me like I was a rag doll. I felt so extremely uncomfortable with her. Then at one point they unhooked me for X-rays which I ended up waiting a whole hr. Now mind you they are supposed to be monitoring my contractions. The nurse left my belt off the entire time I waited to be taken for X-rays.
When it came time for the Dr to come do a cervical check. There was no gentle approach. His words were “your gonna feel a lot of pressure” then proceeds to jam his fingers inside me. He then thinks it was appropriate to show me his bloody fingers that he just pulled out of me and put them right in front of my face. To tell me it was all normal. I cannot explain how uncomfortable and violated I felt. Also he ended up telling me I was already 3cm dilated…..
They check me a 3rd time and end up sending me home because apparently it was only Braxton hicks contractions and I was not in enough pain. And I quote “you need to be in agonizing pain where you can barely stand” both the Dr and the main nurse said that. After that the nurse basically RUSHED me to get out the room. At one point before I left the room she walked in NO WORDS SAID and opened my door wide open AND LEFT….. Now idk about yall but that was so disgusting and disrespectful.
As I’m leaving the hospital 3cm dilated, 3-5min contractions, and my pain was still a good 7. I just knew I was in labor…. These were not Braxton hicks contractions. Sure enough I get home and about an hour later my contractions are now 1-3 min apart and I’m in agonizing pain.
I was rushed to a BEAUTIFUL HOSPITAL WITH AMAAAAAZING STAFF!!! Texas Children’s Hospital. I ended up going from 3cm at hca to 7cm dilated when I showed up at Texas Children’s all within an hour…..I had my son the next afternoon 7/23/26 at 12:37pm
DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL FOR LABOR!!!!
MY FIRST CHILD LABOR SHOULD HAVE BEEN EASY GOING AND BEAUTIFUL BUT THIS PLACE ALMOST RUINED THAT FOR ME…Thank God for Texas Children’s saving me.

This would have been a 4 star experience except for ICU reception. One of my family members was brought into the ER on Friday July 24th in the morning where he was transferred to the ICU that afternoon. He was able to receive excellent care through the weekend from the ER medical team, trauma medical team, and ICU medical team. The ICU room is big and spacious accommodating all his equipment needs and our family. We had a positive experience until the ICU receptionist. On July 28th, we came to the ICU per our “new norm” only the receptionist changed the guidelines and decided she was no longer going to let us in to see our family member. This denied me the opportunity to speak with the medical team and help make the necessary decisions (I have PoA and mPoA). When you have a loved one in the icu, this is the place to find kindness, calmness, and integrity from hospital employees and staff while your family is going through trauma and crisis. Instead the hospital has employs people who lack empathy and compassion. The receptionist’s harsh, abrasive, and crass tone, choice of words, and actions demonstrates her insecurities seemingly stemming from her ineptitudes. When I told her I’d wait for the charge nurse to let us in, she threw things off her table and stormed away into the icu (where we were still being denied). She created all this melodrama fully knowing there is a hospital camera above her head. After throwing her tantrum, she came back later with the security guard where she was rudely and childishly gossiping about me as if I couldn’t hear them. She was being loud and disruptive in a space where it needs to be calm, peaceful, and inviting. She seemingly makes up her own rules picking and choosing which ones to enforce how and when. While waiting about an hour for the charge nurse and icu director to come let me in, I was stuck witnessing her interrogate some icu visitors, allow some icu visitors to look at her list of patients to “find” their loved one, and decide with some icu visitors who she was going to let in with food and who she was going to deny. She is a non-medical power hungry employee looking for obedience instead of respectfully adjusting according to the needs of the patients’ families. She guards the icu entrance/exit forcing you to interact. She heavily contributed to the trauma of an already traumatic circumstance, and it is upsetting that a hospital would employ this type of skill set. She has no business interacting with patients or their families. When Bridgette, the director, finally came out to let me in she tried to make excuses for her behavior which indicates that this is approved hospital behavior. If you have to go through icu and experience this, I would recommend either (a) tell the receptionist to call the Director every 5 minutes until she comes out, (b) walk in on either side whenever a door opens. It makes a loop so you can go in either side, (c) look at her list of patients/room numbers that she does not secure and chose one, or (d) go through the back stairs where all the construction workers come through the icu. They cannot deny you access to your family.

Do not go here they put you in a room and forget about you. In the last 48 hours my wife has had 2 jello’s and a cup of water. She had a CT scan today, that was 4 hours ago and we have yet to see a doctor come explain the results. Here we sit in her room
352 forgotten and with out any answers from doctors. My wife complained of a headache 5 hours ago and they said they would get her something still nothing. Nothing but neglect and very little communication here. Guess they don’t believe that part of the Constitution that’s says no cruel and unusual punishment. My wife is worst off now then when she went in.

I had surgery on 7/1/26. Everything was great until rolling into the OR was told they “lost my tray” but it was found. Surgery done and sent to PACU and cared for by a nurse who really wanted to be somewhere else, kept telling other nurses there that a friend from “Cali” had just landed and she needs to go. I told the nurse I had to go to the bathroom and she asked me what she was supposed to do about that?? Sat a couple of beds down to do charting, never near me. She finally was able to get me down to nurses to get me discharged (which she bad mouthed to other nurses). When getting ready for discharge we were given a piece of equipment that was not functioning properly. We were given all parts and instructions and told to “figure it out”

Wait in the waiting room, wait for the doctor though he was quite nice then wait for the older doctor. sent to hospital for Xray, hospital didn't have faxed paperwork. called doctor's office 5 time to get thru, finally got the paperwork to hospital. 2 1/2 hours in total just to get an Xray. Welcome to what happens when your doctor's office gets purchase by a NYSE company focused on the bottom line. Changing at the end of the year.

The most rudest under staffed hospital I ever seen. The staff members are so unprofessional, the day shift on south tower 2000 room numbers. The one who answer the phone for them on that side (south tower 2000 rooms)Cathy has no empathy, and should not be allowed to even answer the phone there. The only people I find that had class was the nurses in charge. So far and the nutrition department. I would never send or refer my enemies to that unprofessional uncaring place. Just remember to the staff you have family as well.
