My husband and I enjoyed our time together there. Decent rooms. Beds are clean and comfortable. Pricing do vary depending how long you stay.

The Maxim III is your typical "No-tell Motel" with a staff who could care less what you're doing there. It isn't a nice place with beautiful rooms. It's clean, but for $35 a night with online booking, you can't beat it. I was stuck in Houston (shudder) and was limited on funds. My travel companion found the Maxim online and it saved me from a park bench. A shower, clean sheets and plenty of ice for only $35 really saved the day. Thanks, Max.

Hi I stayed in over a year and they are very pleasant people even watched over my children when they were outside i recommend them to any body it’s a very safe place and it was my safe haven from what I was going through -dpete

The clerk was polite and was willing to negotiate the rate. The rooms are efficent, mostly clean, however, there was a half full water bottle in the freezer and the microwave had spilled soup that dried up in it. The bed and the rest of the room was decent though. I would reccomend and would stay in the future.

False advertisements online!! Roaches are bad. No Bed Bugs!! The only reason I would stay again is because it was quite a NO bed bugs!! Price is to high!!

I been to a variety of Hotels/Motels in my lifetime and my stay here left me speechles. Never have I been told I have to stay in my room and could NOT go outside. As this lady who works thier (assuming) had told my husband and I that as we went to walk to the store right next door. I yelled and told her being she was upstairs above the office that she was NOT my mother and how im a GROWN female and WE are in the USA where I am FREE to go outside and walk anywhere I want. Then as it got late BED BUGS omg and for the price the room is extreamly small. DO NOT GO HERE !!

Manager told me no pets allowed, though Before I had booked the room explained my dog is a Registered Service animal. He said again he didn't allow dogs, so I let him know that if he wants to, I can file a complaint with the HDA, ADA and get the authorities involved...he looked at me like I was stupid and charged me an extra $30. Then I saw three other people with dogs..seriously?
I'm deaf in my left ear and have 2 Learning disabilities.
Also found some things in the room that should have been cleaned before rented again. (To each their own, but the next time you harass a guy for his Service dog, at Least get the mostly empty drug bags out of the room, yeah?)
