I have had two procedures her in the past week: an ultrasound and an abdominal MRI. Each was done by a woman, and both ladies were caring, friendly, and calming - exactly what a person needs for reassurance at a time like that. Neither time did I experience a wait time when I arrived. After I completed the paperwork, I was called to the back to begin the procedure. At no time was I passed off to another person. The person who did the procedure was the person who collected me from the waiting room, and who led me out after the procedure was finished. Both procedures were done in the morning, and both times the results were available to my doctor that afternoon. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone else.
Today was my first experience at the Memorial Herman Surgical Hospital of FT BEND. I went for an MRI in their Open MRI unit. I had had an experience elsewhere in a closed MRI that had been quiet unpleasant and resulted in an incomplete scan. I was surprised by the niceness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. Going for an MRI of my hand was almost like going to a spa. There was a nice gown and robe, attention to my comfort, great sound blocking headphones with music of my choice (no inferior little earplugs to coach into my ears, where they then fall out), warm blankets and pillows to tuck me in. I was able to sleep during the scan. Great experience and success. I will definitely use this facility for future scans!
I’d filled out the paperwork prior to my appointment and arrived about 20 minutes early. The check in was straight forward and the desk staff very pleasant and courteous.
About ten minutes after my appointment time the nurse/MRI tech (John) came to get me. He shepherded me through the process, explaining each step in advance. He was courteous and reassuring throughout, positioning me carefully on the table for the MRI of my knee.
After the appointment, John escorted me back to reception where he removed the medical identity bracelet for me.
This was my third MRI at this facility and I couldn’t ask for a better experience.
I had great experience with my first knee replacement here in January and I’m looking forward to a repeat great experience with my next knee replacement in the next cou of months.
I had a great experience. My technician Michelle was beyond helpful. I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable and she made the process very smoothly. I’ve done CT scans /MRI before but this time I had the best experience. She was great not only on my appointment day but also after that when I called her the next day to send me the result. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.
This place, its people and its service was unbelievable! A solid 10 out of 10. You hear all these bad stories about doctor offices, hospitals and bad times but not this place. Setting an appointment...easy, friendly reminders, check in staff acted like "you actually mattered" nurses upstairs and the doctors acted as if you were their only concern in the whole world. This place is the bar were all other medical facilities should strive for.
Everyone was friendly starting with the front desk staff and the technicians. John made such a great impression that I remembered him from my first MRI earlier in the year. The nurse who assisted with my IV was wonderful and very caring.
Went in for MRI and it was a very welcomed experience! The staff at the front desk were super friendly and very courteous! The technician performing the MRI was very good at her job and did everything she could to make me comfortable and also played my favorite music for me. Since I drove in from Galveston for the tests, they rushed completing the CD and radiology report so I could take it with me. One of the staff at the front desk kept me informed as to how much longer I would have to wait for the report. This was so refreshing as so many times in other situations you are just left in the dark. I can’t say enough about how well this facility was run and to how great the staff treated me! Well done to all!
I am so glad that I have this opportunity to review Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital. I have been to this facility three times in the last month for various scans and can't say enough about how great it is.

The staff here are amazing with such warm and awesome energy. They were very friendly and thorough with everything. The best medical experience I’ve had. I was surprised how fast and smooth check in was. Courtney was so patient and comforting when I had voiced my concerns. Really thankful and glad to have had her take care of me.
I had a procedure scheduled yesterday morning. Upon entering I was unaware the facility is a full hospital. Check in was filled with standard forms one would expect prior to getting seen. It was shortly after turning the forms in , my wife and myself began to feel very comfortable. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere began to remind us of earlier times when hospital's cared more about the PERSON and not how they were getting paid. After being pulled for my CT scan Andrew and Stephanie were extremely helpful and Andrew explained everything in such detail it made my anxiety less. Their care was of true people who have a calling for helping one get better. The experience felt as if we just hanging out rather than being in a hospital. After the scan we met Dr. Masomeh who continued our laughter and easiness. We truly felt at ease and are so blessed places still are out here which continue to help people and make a true difference. Your facility is above standards anyone would expect and staff are as family. Our family is truly grateful.
