This place is odd, it looks like they were trying to make it a nice place, tiled floors fancy shower heads that leaked, refrigerator that leaked. Toilets all chipped up, toilet paper is just sitting on the ledge. Kitchenette with no supplies, not even a paper cup. They did a crappy job on the last remodel. But It was clean, had a funky smell and a/c worked so-so. Stayed here because all regular hotels tripled their rates due to the FIFA World Cup games. If cost is a factor, yes I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice. It had a really weird picture on the wall with a saying on it. I booked it because it was listed in the American Express travel program.

As others have said, price was lower online (in fact, right now it says $69 for a room; we paid over $100) so its kind of a bait and switch. Also, as others have said, the staff keeps their family and little children in the lobby running around. Not professional. Hotel is appealing from the outside, but the rooms lack functionality. Particularly, the shower and sink had issues. Shower literally leaked water all over the floor (I don't know why hotels don't want to fix this; its damaging to the property, at the least) but this causes potential danger and slippage when you get out. Sink water was a JOKE and literally dribbled out of the faucet (see pictures). Bathroom exhaust fan was SUPER loud and annoying. Tried to upload a video of the noisy fan, but was unsuccessful. Bed was OK, which was one of the better parts. But as others have said, this is located in a bad part of Houston, so beware when you stay there.

Okay so let me start off by saying didn't get caught up by the way the lobby looks. Trust me it looks absolutely stunning in the lobby but the rooms?! Ummm yeah.... This particular room the security hatch didn't work. When you turned on the hot water it had a ratchet smell to it that I'll never forget. And tbah the room smelled stale. The thing I can say is that it's walking distance to various things like Walmart a beauty supply store corner store...link ups yeah if you trying to impress a bop but to the grown romantic thang...no!!!

Came out to be more expensive than it said online. The metal hinges that add extra security on the front door are loose. If someone opens your door with a key card there’s no extra security to keep them from coming in. Restroom was clean and there was enough towels for our stay. Room smelled like smoke even tho It was a non smoking room. Room looks like it is not taken care of. I paid $90 for a one bedroom. I stayed here when it first opened and it was newer. They have been slacking in upkeep. And I’m pretty sure there’s bugs on the beds.

The rooms look beautiful inside and out. Very neat and clean. Staff is super friendly always love that. Only issue is we booked the second floor and there was noise on the roof. Maybe a attic and people walking? Toilet also got clogged... other than those two. Everything was great! My son and I enjoyed the stay.

My original review is below. Exactly I've well later I stayed at the hotel and didn't think it was the same place. My original room and the next two rooms I was moved to had been smoked in heavily. The shower did not drain, the towels were stained with something black, and the overall feel was dirty this time. The stairways were dirty, there was a strong smell of marijuana and because of it, the hotel has gotten my business for the last time. The staff was great but I can't stay at a place that smells like a smokers lounge. I have nothing against smokers, but I don't want to stay at a hotel that doesn't enforce their non smoking policy.

For a hotel under $70 a night this was a great deal. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and (for my needs) the location was great. This is a family run hotel and they seem to really care about the upkeep of their property. I didn't see anyone hanging out that looked suspicious. I didn't hear loud music. I didn't suspect anyone solicitating. These were all good signs because I am usually not one to stay at a place that is as cheap as Hotel Bella. The room was truly great. My only concern was a few stains on the chairs that like they were from spills, and the sheets were a little rough. Honestly, it wasn't a big issue.
