Well,we all know what a wonderful reputation Loughborough has, but it's great that they have a campus in London, in the majestic Queen Elizabeth Olympic park...close to the canal..it has a great library facility too.

I have not had the opportunity to visit this university. I am 35 years old and I have heard about this university for 35 years because my father attended this university. He will always talk about his days here and how elegant, magnificent, and prestigious to have studied here back in the days. I still hear his proud voice in my head talking about Loughborough university though he passed away in 2001. I would love to visit and go back in time to see the year book of his time.

I really enjoyed attending Loughborough University for my Masters in Security Peace building and Diplomacy.
The staff are fantastic and the facilities are modern. Having such a well placed campus in London is going to be a real benefit to Loughborough University.
The Olympic Park is a great setting. The government is planning on some excellent new development, in particular the V&A museum thats being built near the swimming pool.
Close to the University are a number of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants. The canal is nice to sit by in the summer, as is the park (like the main campus in the Midlands, there is a lot of green space).
Unlike other universities in London - where you have a choice either pay a huge rent and be close to lectures or live outside the city and endure a long commute - Loughborough is different. I found a room, thats 15 mins away by bike that cost me 560 a month (plus bills). Saved myself a fortune!
In all an excellent year with some great personal successes. I would highly recommend it!

Fabulous campus at one the best sports universities in the world. Glad they finally have a permanent presence in London!
