So good for young actors. My son has learned so much, his comic timing was always a thing but all his skills have come on leaps and bounds - I’m not a theatre expert but even I noticed his voice use, physical theatre skills, ability to portray different characters with different emotions and general ability to perform all have massively improved. Hurray for RAaW!

My son has been working with Abbie, Robbi, and the other great people at RaAW for three years. It’s been such a wonderful experience because not only is he learning important acting skills and techniques, but he’s also learning life skills like accountability, time keeping, and reputation management. He’s also built solid friendships and feels like RaAW is a second family, which is so beneficial as he grows through his teenage years.

RAaW is unique from other drama schools as it recognises the harsh realities of the industry and offers part time training for those who work on the side. In return, they ask for commitment, dedication and hard work to follow their methods in enhancing your skills as an actor, increasing your abilities in writing and producing and overall telling stories which recognise the best of humanity. If you're strong enough to challenge yourself and want to be an actor, this is the school for you!

RAaw is a truly special place- a safe, supportive and inspiring atmosphere to learn and grow in. My training here was an amazing experience, and allowed me to explore not only who I want to be as an actor but also as a human being. The teachers helped us to expand our minds creatively, and broaden our skills, with a wide range of classes and techniques. I can confidently say that I have left RAaw with far more understanding of myself and others. The most authentic training like no other, and I'll always be beyond grateful for my time here.

My time at RAaW was one of the best years of my life. Not only did I meet an amazing group of creatives but I was guided through a revolutionary technique, by the phenomenal creator of RAaW. I cannot recommend training here enough! You will be given a safe space to explore your craft in unexpected and exciting ways. It is an amazing place to learn about your unique qualities, practically how the industry works and experiment with acting for both stage and screen. I felt nurtured and appreciated at RAaW, as well as challenged and pushed. So, If you are looking for a place to work hard and see genuine results then this is the place for you!

I trained with RAaW back in 2012-2014, this was a really transitional experience for me, not only as a writer performer but also as a person. The training is intense and of the highest quality, covering everything from emotional availability and acting for camera, right through to stage combat and comedy writing. The course teaches the truth about the industry, encouraging the student to to be a well rounded performer and creative who makes their own opportunities. RAaW has a warm supportive, family which makes you the best performer you can be. Since the course, I have explored lots of creative paths with the tools that I was equipped with, I am now a writer and poet as well as a performer and am constantly evolving and changing. RAaW taught me the importance of creating your own work which has been not only been hugely rewarding on a personal level but has also lead to some fantastic career opportunities!

Dynamic, focused, intensive and inspiring acting/film experience with RAaW! The tutors are passionate, engaging and have a great knowledge and insight into the craft of film, performance and acting. They provided crucial insights and tips into working with the medium of film and the process of script writing/storytelling. I really resonated with The Stevens Technique, which was a unique training for actors created by Robbi Stevens. This helped me build and expand my actor toolkit, working in a raw, focused and energetic way - giving me the tools and openess to find the emotional availability one needs for film and acting. There is a real sense of community at RAaW, passion for the craft and a hard working spirit. This course was a gift for me as an actor navigating the challenging but exciting acting industry in London 🎭👣

The teachers/ mentors are experienced industry professionals, who are committed to your success and teach with passion, personality and genuine care, as well as being hard drivers. You are consistently encouraged to strive for the very best.

RAaW not only teaches you how to perfect your craft but also how to thrive in the industry. You are taught how to be persistent and focussed, while at the same time remaining humble.
