CSI CUNY has honestly been one of the most frustrating and disappointing college experiences I’ve dealt with. I ended up losing almost $2,990 and never even properly enrolled in classes.
The whole process felt unprofessional, disorganized, and like a complete waste of time. The class options were extremely limited, and students basically have to fight just to get into a decent schedule. Most classes were only available in the evening, which doesn’t work for everyone. Instead of helping students succeed, the system feels stressful and uncaring.
Compared to Brooklyn College, the difference is huge. At BK College, students actually have a fair chance of getting classes they want at normal times, and the school seems to care more about students’ well-being and education. CSI, on the other hand, felt frustrating, disappointing, and honestly like a scam based on my experience.
I honestly suggest everyone who planned on going to four colleges just don't go to college of staten island and got trapped or see their website and things see more good but in reality it ain't not they're just acting and most of the students or staffs there if they ever say the school was great well they're lied with pay check

Asian girl at the front was rude and tried to question my inquires… just admit that you don’t know what you’re talking about!!! Was looking for info on CUNY Reconnect, was gaslit. If you’re looking for info on CUNY Reconnect, you should do the virtual open house at John Jay. I asked the advisor, Samuel Lopez, everything I asked the rude dismissive Asian girl (who by the way, I left my name and phone number and still hasn’t returned my call) and he knew EXACTLY what I was talking about. He even apologized on behalf of CUNY because I told him I was having second doubts of re-enrolling because of my experience at this office.

Considering that this University does not support the 1st Amendment right, freedom of sprech, so they can be socially acceptable. Despicable.

You can never get ahold of them or get any questions answered. The first semester I was supposed to go they had a hold on my account because I was a transfer student which I couldn't get ahold of anyone to take it off until the day of classes. At that point I just deferred because there were no classes left to add. It's a complete mess.
