For Dr. Hassain himself he gets 5 stars, however his staff gets 0 stars. Anytime I've ever spoken with someone over the phone it has been an unpleasant ordeal.The "lady" who usually answers the phone is an awful representation of his practice. She is extremely rude and has a very nasty tone. I called today to make my follow up appointment and she told me I wasn't a patient. WHAT?! Not only did Dr. Hassain treat me when I was on life support for almost a month, he followed up almost everyday when I got out of ICU and even came to see me regularly when I was moved over to the acute rehabilitation hospital. AND I saw him in his Sugarland office as well, so how am I not a patient?! I called back to get her name, however she would not answer the phone. I could hear the click when it transfers to another extension, it did that a few times and kept ringing with no answer, not even a voicemail. That happened 3 times before I decided to leave this review. Today was not my first time having issues with his phone or front desk staff, but it certainly is the last. I hate that I have to find another nephrologist because Dr. Hassain is amazing but dealing with the rude people on the phone every time I've spoken with them over the past few months just isn't worth it. An entire revamp of the people he has answering the phone would be ideal.
