Being having work on 4 household vehicles at Open Road and am never disappointed. Great communication, explanation and tip top customer service from everyone at the shop. The backup of work order reports with photos is stellar.

I took my car in to have the AC repaired and i got it back the same day and it was blowing cool but the mechanic said just drive it around and let it cool down as you drive it so after a couple of hours just driving it was back to the ice cold AC i was accustomed to and i was very pleased and it has remained that way since they worked on it. The price was very reasonable and i gladly paid it to get my AC back in top shape because it gets hot in Houston. Well done!

I took my vehicle to Open Road Automotive for repairs and I paid $6900 and they assured me they would use original (OEM) parts—a crucial condition for my authorizing the work. Several suspension components and a belt tensioner were replaced, and an alignment was performed.
Less than a week later, the alignment failed, and I was subsequently informed that the repair was not covered under warranty.
Shortly after, the alternator belt came off while I was driving, causing power steering failure and creating a safety hazard. The shop reinstalled it after towing the vehicle but failed to identify the root cause of the problem.
Later, after they replaced the battery, I experienced electrical issues and discovered that the battery terminals had been left loose.
After all these negative experiences, I sought a second opinion from another mechanic, who pointed out that generic (non-original) parts had been installed instead of the OEM parts I had been promised. He also noted loose fasteners and premature wear on certain components.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I advise others to confirm exactly which parts and services will be used or performed and to carefully inspect the work once it is completed.

They did a great job diagnosing my truck.
It didn't actually have the problem I thought it had, and they didn't try to sell me on "made up" problems.
They offer a free ride home, via Lyft.

Just got my oil changed and a state inspection at Open Road. They were beyond professional and didn't try to upsell me a bunch of stuff like Take 5 on Shepherd. Debra in the front office was quick, efficient and they got my car done in the time I had asked for. I will definitely be taking my car back there for regular service as well as any repair work I need.

Came back for an issue I caused and man I love it here just an overall family vibe we laughed about it … laughed even more … they ended up fixing the job for me with no hassle just knowledge so I wouldn’t make the same mistake again Just wanna say I really appreciate these guys !!!! Especially Tim . He knew exactly who I was from my voice.!!

What sets these guys apart from every other auto shop business are the little things. Professionalism at the front desk, quality coffee, immaculate waiting area and rest room, complimentary Lyft for longer waits, transparency and flexibility on repair needs. I do not think I will ever encounter a better organized auto shop business than this one. Well done. Open road was not only very professional they were also quick kind and courteous! Tim was such a big help and was ready and willing to answer any questions! Everyone was so friend 10/19 experience!!!! Cheap as well!

Peaceful and friendly atmosphere in the waiting room, excellent staff and service. I highly recommend this place to anyone! They did my auto inspection quickly and even vacuumed the inside of my car. Plus they found an oil leak and quickly fixed it for me. I also found a nice little gift in my car on my way out 😊
