We attended a Mass at 12:00noon in the Chapel. Very beautiful chapel the inside. You can pray and ligth a candle for your loved ones that passed away or pray for Thanksgiving for yourself and for your family and friends. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a solemn place to pray.

This is the most prejudiced school I have ever attended. You have to know what happened to African students who had come there earlier to know why they are treated that way. Wealthy students from Asia and other parts of the world are the ones who get scholarships and financial aid, and it's not even merit-based. The parents of these wealthy students are sponsors of numerous scholarships at Seton Hall. A Caucasian seminarian student even called an African American guy the N-word while I was a student there.

As a Senior at Seton Hall, I am truly grateful to have gotten my undergraduate education here. The opportunities I have been given, as well as the optimal location of campus, and all of the connections I have been able to make with my peers and professors are part of why I think Seton Hall has been a great fit for me. I have been able to be both a Research Assistant in a Lab and a Teacher's Assistant within the Psychology Department, which I believe have helped strengthen my leadership and communication skills that will help me succeed in my future career. As I was moving from across the country, the welcoming environment on campus was something that I was really drawn to, and I am so appreciative of the lifelong connections I have made at Seton Hall.

Coming into college was extremely daunting to me, but the Seton Hall faculty and administration made the transition seamless! All of the resources on campus made my time here incredible! My resume was able to be reworked and I have gotten involved with one of the research labs on campus in my sophomore year. The food has also been consistently yummy this year, I find myself in the dining hall a lot more often. I couldn't possibly have asked for a better school to be at, the amount of opportunities both academic and extracurricular wise is unparalleled!

Going to give good and bad things: Seton Hall has some teachers that will grade you unfairly and be a bit rude but most are very kind. You won’t really get the college experience, you can’t really have too much fun or have late nights out, as you need to sign people in with ID’s and not past 2am and also no opposite gender or any overnight guests unless you do a form 48 hours before, so you can’t have friends over spontaneously. The RA’s are too invasive, they will walk into your room, laugh, all while you are sleeping when it’s an hour before you have to leave to break. Unlike at other schools, you have to leave at a certain time before break, and if not you have to pay $45 a night which is a lot of money. Parking is extremely expensive too, for a year just it’s like $1k and for overnight it’s $18 and textbooks can be around 500$ and you need to pay for additional programs that isn’t included in tuition that can run about 100$ each, so if 3 classes had them you would have to pay 300$ along with the 500$ for textbooks. In you billing you will see random fees that are expensive like 700$ and if you don’t pay them you can’t register or see transcripts. Good thing about Seton Hall is they offer lots of scholarships but also have many fees and costs. The dean and area coordinators are very kind and caring though. Also, you can’t doordash anything to the buildings so you have to walk to the nearest gate which can be like a five minute walk but it’s not fun in negative degrees in snow. Also, you cannot have a car on campus if you dorm unless you win some type of lottery, so you can’t really have a job or go anywhere, jobs on campus are impossible to get and they barely hire any students. Also compared to other schools, rooms are extremely small and showers are so tiny. The best upperclassmen dorms look much smaller and less modern than the freshmen dorms at other schools. You can’t really enjoy the college experience, it’s not really a party school at all you would have to go to NYC to go out. Train station is a bit of a walk and shuttle won’t take you there. A 30 minute walk is definitely not fun in the cold. By not having cars and for going out, you have to spend a lot on transportation to the city, going out in the city, doordash, and ubers. Though some teachers are unfair, most are extremely professional and all the administration in each specific school is very professional as well, whenever I called an office for help, they have always been extremely kind and supportive. The school itself is good and you can have fun especially in the city since it is close and there is a train station nearby. If you like a smaller school it’s definitely a good choice.

As a student from the Carolinas, I have loved Seton Hall and would undoubtably call it my home away from home. I've had amazing professors who care for my success. From ESPN to NBC Sports, I've had amazing internship opportunities and I'm only in my second year. The friends and memories I've made are the cherry on top and I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

The academic offers and experiences I've had as a student at Seton Hall have been beyond my expectations. I am an English major in my second year at Seton Hall; the one-on-one experiences with my professors have given me opportunities to do academic research and publish multiple academic articles. I appreciate Seton Hall's dedication to students and opportunities they present to individually grow each and every student! I love it here!

The small class sizes give me the opportunity to connect with my professors and peers, helping campus feel like it's own little community!
