Even with plenty of options closer to me in Boston and Newton, I chose to travel more than 40 minutes to Total Dental in Lawrence—and I’m so glad I did. As someone who values a diverse, welcoming, and respectful healthcare environment, I immediately felt comfortable here.
From my first phone call, Sandy and Sacha at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming. Esmeralda, Fior, and the rest of the team brought the same positive energy, making every visit feel personal rather than rushed. I also appreciated the office’s modern technology; the digital mapping for my implant was a much more comfortable experience than traditional impressions.
Dr. Vick Thakkar is skilled, patient, and genuinely compassionate. He explained each step, checked in often, and made me feel heard throughout my root removal and implant process. I’m grateful for the excellent care from the entire Total Dental team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist who combines professionalism with real kindness.
Everyone is so nice here, I’ve gotten fillings, root canals, cleanings and a mouth gaurd here they help me out so much here my son who’s 1 has been here and they we’re so nice to him too they attend to us very quick they get me set up real quick i never had a problem with my teeth after they take care of me i love total dental

i got my wisdom tooth removed here and it was so quick i felt NOTHING when it got removed and my healing process is going great i had no pain in my mouth it was a really smooth healing process i really appreciate total dental for treating me very good and my son aswell !

My hygenist (Grisel) was caring, kind, and professional. My dentist ( Dr. Thakker) was amazing. I had to visit Total Dental for my tooth extraction.. I was on the chair for almost 45 minutes.. the entire procedure was done meticulously and with patience by Dr Vick. I was taken very good care of not only during the procedure but also until my swelling went away after a couple of days..The office is clean and the staff is friendly and caring. Highly recommend.
