Houston is LUCKY to have a service center! I took it for granted until I saw people online ranting about being almost 100 miles from the nearest one, or waiting weeks just to get an appointment.
Anyway, I've been in twice for warranty repairs: the dreaded 12V battery and half-shaft issues. This service center is super responsive via chat (my preferred method), always sends work estimates ahead of time, and keeps me updated throughout. Everything has been easy and straightforward and I've always been lucky to snag a loaner when my baby spends the night there.
Shoutout to Carlos for being my first Rivian service advisor and calming my nerves, and a huge shoutout to Alex for being so knowledgeable and reassuring about common Rivian concerns. My technicians (Chris and one whose name I sadly forgot!) have been great too. When the repairs are done, they're DONE. No follow-up visits needed for me.
Both experiences have been smooth, and I always walk out happy to see my baby R1T. Cars will always have their quirks, and Rivians are no exception. Rest assured, this service center will take care of you.
