Also my car was hit in the parking lot. Arriving around 6am for 8am appointments is the best way to get parking and afternoons start parking about 12pm for a 2pm appointment. Parking is the worst!

Parking is a timing issue. Have to arrive early or really late for a parking spot.

It's best to put your vehicle in the parking, don't use the valet parking, they'll still things out of your car, they stole my house keys on February the 26nd 2024

I like this covered parking lot to the north of the main entrance. I usually use covered Parking Lot N and enter the hospital through the east entrance.
This covered lot is nice in the summer because it shields the cars from direct 🌅. There are solar panels on top that generate energy for the hospital. Kudo to the VAMC.
Patient parking spaces are few and far between on weekday mornings. I try to schedule my appointments for the afternoon when more spots are available.

This parking lot is essential to all VA Medical Center visitors. Because it's right across from the hospital building. On the map, it shows parking lot J. But there was a change after they added a roof.
Parking lot J is actually the lot for valet parking. There are guards to stop you entering the lot if you try.
Entrance to this parking lot i is on Mixon Avenue, outer road to the parking lot. Remember, the color of roof is red. There are solar panels above the lot. It gives shade in the summer and cover in the rainy days.
